You're right, illegal immigrants deserve to be deported; HOWEVER, why should the children suffer? Here's the problem. Let's say José and María from Mexico jump the border and have a kid here, who we will name Jesús. The kid grows up here, goes to American schools, grows up speaking English, and knows nothing but the lifestyle of the US. When Jesús is 10 years old, immigration discovers that José and María were illegal immigrants and decides to deport them. A lot of people might think Jesús doesn't deserve citizenship because his parents were illegals, so therefore he should be deported too. Unfortunately, this is totally unfair. Jesús didn't choose to be born in the US to illegal immigrant parents. All he's ever known is the US and he probably has greater allegiance to the US than he ever will to Mexico, a country he's probably never been to. So is it fair to uproot his life and send him to a country with a lower standard of living just because he had two lawbreaking parents?

Okay, let me get one thing clear. I support letting the kid be a citizen BUT denying the illegals from ever becoming citizens. Therefore, the kid should be allowed to choose to stay in the US. As for a burden on our foster care system, IT ISN'T THE CHILD'S FAULT THEY NEED FOSTER CARE! If someone's parents go to jail for doing drugs, do we say "oh, it's a burden on our foster care system"? NO! We put them in foster care! So let's do the same for natural born US citizens who had the misfortune of having illegal immigrant parents.

Because the parents came to this country ILLEGALLY! Why should their offspring be entitled to anything? Bundle them all up and deposit them back in thier home country! Kids and all.

They reproduce like rabbits just to get more money fromthe government! they shouldn't even be here in the first place!

And heck yes it is fair to "uproot" him and send him back with his parents! Do you not understand that YOU tax dollars go to support these ILLEGAL INVADERS and their children?

DEPORTATION IS THE ONLY HUMANE ANSWER!

Not a simple question to answer to be sure, but I think it boils down to the fact that America in general is a nation based on rule of law. now if someone bud in front of you at the movie theater or bank line, you'd probably...with full right, say HEY, buddy...get to the back.
Just because an person broke our laws for immigration, came here illegally and dropped a child across the right border, well,...that's kind of line budding. Its taking advantage of an old statute America has held just to deceptively gain a foothold in America.
What would be fair ? deporting the parents and keeping the kids here just becasue they are citizens ? now your destroying the family unit. So now you have to deal with a social pressure issue of keeping the family together...thereby the child gives the parents a foothold now.
Do you really think people across America hate mexicans ? They have added, as all ethnicities have, to what makes America. But we don't have a problem with 12 million Germans...or French....and some statistics suggest its closer to 20 million. That's why Anmesty failed coutnry wide. It isn't we hate Mexico, It is a tax on our social systems. Legislation has been cropping up in what...43 different states getting tougher because we can't keep feeding, educating and housing illegals. The people that live in this country are taking a back seat or can't afford the services that many get for either free or low cost. I knew of a girl that was a citizen that had medical problems but couldn't afford to even see a doctor. She didn't qualify for medical or Medicaid...and not old enough for Social security. We should take care of the American 's falling through the cracks of "policy" before we start running a Government of charity.

yes it is unfair and unfortunate for the poor child. However once this loophole is allowed, it just becomes a vicious circle. Suddenly everyone will have been brought here as a child. In the end the parents are responsible for their children not our government. This whole ludicrous claim that the government is separating families or destroying children's lives by not letting them stay is just another bleeding heart grip on a slippery rope.
One has to draw the line somewhere or else you might as well open the borders and say come on in everyone. In which case I would whole-heartily abandon my country and immigrate (legally of course) somewhere else.

This is just my opinion. I feel the whole purpose of illegals coming here IS for the sole purpose of having children, several children as a matter of fact, thinking that our government will let them all stay. Plus, having their children here gives them free hospital care plus tax payer dollars to live on. They just keep having these children at the expense of the United States and its legal immigrants. They know what causes pregnancy. I also don't really think they care a damn about the USA, they just want our prosperity handed to them giving nothing in return like their tax dollars, etc. They are merely moochers wanting our money to send back to their home land. The more kids they have, the more food stamps and welfare they get.

I there is a law that states that if your born in the US, you are a US citizen from birth and you have full rights. So the gov't should not have any right to remove a person born in this country.

The reason for the deportation is most likely not wanting to allow the parents to stay and take care of the child. That and putting the kid through the foster care system. Lets just say its a huge headache from that point.

People who advise for the "foster care" resolution additionally name those toddlers "anchor toddlers" in a derogatory and dehumanizing approach. They are US residents similar to me - why on the earth might I ever prohibit a US citizen's capability to be along with his household? Is this a unfastened nation or no longer? I wish to be with my household - I might no longer do not forget myself unfastened if my nation didn't enable me to be with my cherished household or partner. I consider no specific for every other US citizen. Immigration stuff is getting fairly unpleasant on this nation, and makes me marvel what the definition of freedom fairly method. So you wish to speak approximately paying a fee to be unfastened - worthiness if you're going to...Well then the character who walks around the barren region and endures the needs of smugglers and works underneath the desk for subsequent to not anything has "paid" plenty extra for his youngster to be born in a unfastened nation than I in my opinion have - so YAY for the foresight of our founding fathers for making it aspect of the US Constitution that the ones born within the US are robotically granted US citizenship - and YAY to the warriors for shielding the rights granted via the Constitution for ALL our residents, even those who a few residents wish to strip in their rights. Oh - and thank you for surroundings an extra entice - chatting is what it's known as. I placed out my opinion and get slammed in reaction. No thumbs down for reasoned responses. LOL THESE are my ideas that you just requested me to furnish. Sorry you did not find it irresistible. I wasn't mindful that used to be the prerequisite.

It is really simple: The parents committed a crime in order for the child to be born here. This being the case there is no sane reason to reward the parents--who are criminals--by allowing them to stay for the 18 years until the child grows to adulthood.
Thus the simplest, cheapest, and fairest way to prevent this abuse is not to grant Citizenship to the children of Illegal Alien Criminals.

If born here he/she is automatically a citizen. the parents should be deported with the option to take the child home or to put he/she in foster care.
Now your response might be "how can you break up families?"
And my response would be:
we break up american families every single day, due to drugs, criminal acts, etc, etc, committed by parents which forces their kids into fostercare(my cousin is a foster parent)
So does that mean those that support illegals believe it's ok to break up families of american citizens who break the law, but not Ilegals who enter this country Illegally?
Then I would ask you
If I break the laws of a foriegn nation, do I deserve a get out of jail free card?

The scenario you mentioned happens all the time and the child is the citizen. He can come back when he is an adult and petition for the parents. This is the legal way. I don't think that people have a problem with the boy but it is with the parents. Afterall, he is the Citizen
