I think we have 'animal' bodies but, if you notice, the more complex an animal's brain is, the more likely they are to have developed behaviors that are acceptable to the group. With homosexuality, denial over thousands of years hasn't changed it so I think it's time for the homophobes to adjust to accepting it, the same way some are forced to accept not everyone has black hair or has the same body type.
I do believe, w/o a doubt, that homosexuality is a natural state. I grew up with a 'gay' kid and, before we even had hormones or knew anything about sex and the opposite gender, he always acted different than the boys who became 'straight' after 7th grade.
Denial obviously doesn't make it change...kinda like starving yourself doesn't change the fact that you need food to survive.

Yes, humans are animals. This should surprise nobody, since the alternatives are vegetable and mineral. It's not correct, though, to say that we are "more evolved". If it's true that all life has a single common ancestor, then it logically follows that all living things today are equally evolved, do you see? Everything alive today has been evolving for the same length of time. Things have just evolved in different directions, that's all.

"All God's critters got a place in the choir; some sing low, some sing higher--" Yes lest we forget, humans are animals. We are just somewhat better at reasoning and communicating but we are not any higher ( ha ha) than the beasties are. The idea of "perversion" being SO evil was thought up thousands of years ago to keep them babies popping out. It still works pretty well, alhough the times they are a changing.

"But aren't Humans animals too?"
Yes.
"If homosexuality is natural for animals than why is it considered a perversion if a man or woman are homosexual?"
The mental health profession no longer considers homosexuality to be a perversion (as of 1974). Narrow-minded bigots do, but who cares what they have to say, about anything.
"If God supposedly created the world and it's inhabitants, and he says homosexuality is wrong. Why is it natural for animals?"
2 possibilities:
1) God made us and the animals, condoned homosexuality in all other species, but prohibited us from doing it, just because.
2) All creatures, animal and human alike, are products of natural selection. Throughout our history, different cultures have decreed certain behaviors to be "moral" and others "immoral", either out of general interest in preserving the social fabric of the population (e.g. no murder), or just out of some guy's primitive aversion to certain behaviors (e.g. no homosexuality). Unfortunately, both kinds of morals were attributed to the same entity (God), so sorting out which ones to keep and which ones we can safely throw away, in the interest of progress and basic respect for human rights, can be a bit sticky.
Which is more likely?

Any species that has homosexuality as normal will eventually die out.
It isnt natural for animals to engage in homosexual behavior. It is natural for animals to do whatever is possible to survive. Not procreating is not in line with the survival instinct. Homosexual behaviors in animals goes against the best interest and the natural order of the animal kingdom.
Animals that engage in the behavior are actually abnormal and harming the survival of the species.
In the animal kingdom the differences between sexes tends to be incredibly obvious to the opposite sex of that species and species naturally know how to attract mates.

yes we are, and there is nothing wrong with homosexuality in us or other animals, and the example of the preying mantis doesn't apply. Killing another member of your species bc it is part of your instincts as an insect does not rise to the level of having sex with another member of your species for the non-violent purpose of pleasure or reproduction, BOTH of which are legitimate reasons for having sex with the person of your choice.

On the last day of creation, God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness” (Genesis 1:26). Thus, He finished His work with a “personal touch.” God formed man from the dust and gave him life by sharing His own breath (Genesis 2:7). Accordingly, man is unique among all God’s creations, having both a material (body) and an immaterial (soul / spirit) part.
Having the “image” or “likeness” of God means, in the simplest terms, that we were made to resemble God. Adam did not resemble God in the sense of God’s having flesh and blood. Scripture says that “God is a spirit” (John 4:24) and therefore exists without a body. However, Adam’s body did mirror the life of God, insofar as it was created in perfect health and was not subject to death.
The image of God refers to the immaterial part of man. It sets man apart from the animal world, fits him for the “dominion” God intended (Genesis 1:28), and enables him to commune with his Maker. It is a likeness mentally, morally, and socially.

your question takes two different perspectives into one.
from Christian perspective: it is perversion for humans because we are created above animals, in God's image. It is natural for animals because God created them taht way, but He didnt create us that way.
from scientific point of view: since we are animals as well, just more evolved, i guess it really isnt a big perversion for humans to be homosexuals.
