you probably don't have enough fiber in your diet...most likely your contstipated which is not a good thing. If you stay that way 2 long it can lead to impaction and you don't want that. a quick fix 2 clean yourself out is "Magnesium Citrate"...you can find it at any drugstore or go 2 WalMart they sell it also. you have 2 take the whole bottle in order for it 2 work and you must drink water behind it. now your gonna go 2 the bathroom alot so be prepared. but people don't know that they're walking around with undigested food in their bodies that's just sitting there...try going 2 a healthfood store and asking for some type of "digestion support" or an "enzyme" to help with digestion...you are supposed to have at least 2- 3 bowel movements a day. if you don't beef up your fiber intake. a good way 2 do that is Metamucil...they recently came out with a smooth kind that goes down better...hope that helps you 2 get some relief..

You need to eat more fiber if your not getting enough. The daily recommended intake for fiber is 25-30 grams. Foods rich in fiber are beans, whole-grains, or fiber supplements, such as fiber-sure. Try Fiber-One or Kashi multi-grain cereals and see their fiber content, they're great! On top of that you need to drink plenty of water or else your bowels will become dry and you won't have regular bowel movements. Water keeps your bowels moist and soft. You need to drink at least 80 ounces of water a day. Just buy a 24 pack of water from wal-mart that are 20 ounces per bottle and make sure you drink 4 bottles a day! Don't expect immediate results, you need to let your body adapt to the sudden changes!

Your food is moving slowly through your digestive tract. There are different reasons for this. It is not really a good thing. And you need to do your best to fix it.

Here is the good news. This is easy to treat at home. But colace at the store. They are pills that are the soft gel type. You can start slow and work on your system over time. If you start slow, you are unlikely to have the bad side-effects that we usually think of when we think of treating constipation. You won't have accidents. It'll be ok.

This is a common occurrence, even for young people.

It is ok to go to excrete the byproducts of YESTERDAY's meal. That is ok, but it will benefit you if you help your system speed up and empty out any feces that stays in your system.

May you crap more and more often.

It takes about a day to digest your food (your supposed to poop once a day)and I assume your eating every day, so that part sounds alright unless you are uncomfortable. If you feel ok, maybe you are eating super efficient foods(that's total guessing-I'm not a Doc).
If you feel a little bad- buy an over the counter colon cleanser and loosen things up(go to the health food store and ask them), if you feel really bad, maybe you have something going on and you should -ya know, ask a Dr...

Well, the one thing to try is to increase your fiber. Try FiberOne bars. Eat two in a row and see what happens. It'll go "smoother." They're about $3.00 per box and should work safely and effectively. Good luck!

The day AFTER you eat?? As in you don't eat everyday?? That would be the reason. Also avoid fast food and stress.

Drink more water, you're probably dehydrated, and that makes the digestive system sluggish.

It takes 2 days to digest most food. But, you need enough water in your body to move things along.
