There is this guy and i like him a lot. But the problem is, i do not know if he likes me back. He will always stare at me and when i look at him he looks away really fast. Then when i am not looking at him he stares at me again. He pinches, pokes, and play hits me. He talks to me and always seems to sit either in front of me or next to me. Does he like me?

Yes, there is a good chance that he likes you. Have you shown him any signs that you have feelings for him? Everything he is doing is a type of flirting. When he stares at you, turns away when youre looking, and then looks back when you not means that he is shy and you might have to make the first move. All the pinches, pokes and play hits are just ways he can touch you with out coming out and saying that he likes he. You see it as those things but to him, if you dont tell him to stop and go to hell, then that is a good sign to him. Atleast he knows you dont want him to leave you alone. If you really want to mix things up and take a risk of finding out the truth, you should try this. Lets say he pinches you, ask him if thats all he plans to do or is he going to ask you out.

I think so. The staring is the most noticable sign. I asked pretty much the same question once. But this guy probably does like you. But if ur bestest frends with him, I dont think he does. But if u doant know him that well, or not at all, he's probably now catching on and realizing that he actually does.

Based on what you've described, I'd say yes, he likes you.
Either that, or he's gay.
If he's that "playful" with you, then I'd think that he definitely has feelings...but then why would he look away and make you wonder?
I'd just be straight with him and ask him out, at least on a group date. Group dates are great ways to break the ice.

I would say He does. Those are the classic signs. the quick look away. The staring . innocent play. Yep ,i think you hooked one, now reel him into the boat.

If you are in high school, then yes he does like you. Let him know about a place out side of school that you are going to be, and see if he shows up.

yes! but he is to scared or indimidated by you. i have the same type of problem . my guy asked me to homecoming,, and i said no, still he looks at me with his,,um non attractive eyes. lol. but i dont wanna b mean, so we are still friends. but YES he likes you. or he just wants to get to know u more. he want attention from you!
