Obviously not a typo, that'd be a major problem if it was. And false. Abstinence makes the heart search elsewhere. You do realise the heart pumps blood to all parts of the body, including sexual organs, right?

Abstinence would mean that one would not know intimacy to begin with, it is hard to miss something one never truly experienced.

I know that when the girl who would become my wife and I were having an LDR, we were forced to go months without seeing each other because we were young and broke. And we'd barely close her apartment door before having sex. So, yeah, I think it does!

Waiting does make a relationship more special, and creates fewer problems. I'm actually quite fond of a few of my ex-boyfriends, probably because we never mucked up our friendships by sleeping together.

Well I think it makes it sweeter when you finally taste the fruit! Operative word there being "finally".
