I am on a diet, someone told me to eat nothing but boiled egg whites for like a month and I can lose up to 30 pounds. is this true? and if it is, How many eggs should I eat per day

That cannot be healthy, you beed to follow a diet that gives you variety in food, such as veggies and fruits along with your boiled eggs. Your body needs more than one food group to function. You may loose the 30 pounds eating egg whites, but you could get sick and as soon as you stop eating just the eggs, you may gain all that weight right back.

Eggs are really healthy for you. Don't look at it as fat but as protein. An egg is a complete protein in its self. So you don't have to eat more variety of foods to get protein. If you are trying to loose wieght then it would be best not to eat the yolk (the yellow part). I think what you did was fine because you didn't eat exessively and you still got your protein. It wasn't a bad choice at all. Stop stressing over it.

I dont know about that because they contain LOTS of protein, which is used by weight-lifters to gain weight. I'm not positive, but I don't think that it would be the best diet to lose weight...stick you your salads and low calorie foods. No soda, McDonalds, white bread, nothin like that.

I know egg whites are good for you for protein. I don't know about eating nothing but that for a month and losing 30 pounds. First, time I've heard that.

Might find a different diet to go with because even if the diet worked, no one would want to stand close to you because of you excessive gas! So what is the point of looking better if no one will even get close to you?

Doesnt sound very healthy. You need more than just egg whites. Plus youd probly never want to eat eggs again after that.

thats not really true... you could really eat any just one thing forever and lose weight but your cutting off all your other nutrition, eggs are full of fat and protein, but its all in the yolk really. if u really wanna lose weight count your calorie intake daily and try to stick to foods with fiber and whole grains!

no carbs= body uses up fats as energy source...
thus u lose weight...
but u cld fall sick if u dont get ur proper vitamins...
