The word 'minister' has been translated into English from the Greek word 'servant'.
I agree with the other respondents. We are all called to serve.
What we must seek from God is how we are to serve. This includes seeking what our giftings are.
God said (through his servant Paul) to seek the greater gifts and that it is better to prophesy than to speak in tongues.
So, what are we to do?
Pray to God not only for revelation of your specific gift but that you may be given the greater gifts.
Remember: prayer is not just a Father Christmas list of wants. Prayer is also quietly listening for that 'still small voice' that, with faith, you will hear.
God Bless you. I believe, in Jesus Name, that you will receive.
Hallelujah! Amen!

Honestly Bro if your new to it, get to know it a little. If you still are bothered by it leave it. Even though there are many religions out there we dont need a building to worship in. NO ONE is ever called to serve the church. The church is nothing but a man made building. Serve your own way, that will bring more satisfaction to what you feel is best.

Once you become a member of a church, you are automatically "called to serve,." Christ, and others.

But you're not sure where or what?

Decide what it is you are passionate about, and that will most likely be your area for ministry.

You can also take a spiritual gifts inventory test - it's quick and you can do one online. Just google "Spiritual Gifts Inventory," and several will come up. You can also ask your pastor about it.

Another way is to just try several different areas of ministry and see where your skills and talents fit the best.

Don't stress! You will be a blessing to your church, don't worry!

I am mormon and olny 13 but in my chuch we are always serving Christ (or the church) every minute of our lives. Just by helping someone working in their yard is considerd serving because were helping god's children. But yes, we also do go on missions where we tell people about our church and tell them about our religion. But since you do go to my church you might want to pray about you're sirvace to you're church and see what feels right. I think it's mostly up to you.

Schema! Our one God (Jesus Christ) will show you the way. First of all you need to discern if he is calling you. Discern your personal history when you were small as child your relationship with Christ or pass history, does not has to be childhood. Pray to the holy sprite to guide you, always. Do you love things of Christ? Do you see yourself as a priest in mass? If you are in the seminary are you happy at the end (living in seminary)? If you answer yes to all questions most likely you are called. Only the Director of the seminary can help you discern. You are the only one who will really know if you are being call to live joyful life. Remember life in seminary is walking in fire with our getting burn being able to live joyful life.

I don't know if this will work for you since the Anglicansm is divide between tradictional Catholic. If you are Tradictional on the side of the Catholic. I belive will help you. If not seminary life wouldn't be hard and things I wrote wouldn't help.

We are all called to serve the Church in one way or another. You will have to decide to which degree through prayer.

Well, if the church is so important, then I think you should serve it. But if it's God who wants you to serve Him, then you have to wait upon Him to show you what it is. You will have to trust Him.

Will you? Would God want someone to stop activity in order to wait upon Him, and then send them to heaven spiritually bankrupt? Or is waiting on Him going to improve your standing with Him?

EDIT: I think your focus is off! You need to look to Him, not the church.

We are all called to serve "in" the church. What we do is what the desire and ability that God has placed on your heart to do. Pray for the Lord to show you. Be sincere and He will show you.

How can you serve when you know nothing.
