MY psp battery dies fast i charge it and it lasts me 3 hours when if should last 5 to 6 hours what could be the problem

It may seem wierd but I am pretty sure all PSP's do this, me and my freinds PSP's do it too.

Using the UMD's in the PSP takes alot of power out of the battery because of the constant movement of the disk. If using memory stick only for music or movies than it will last the 5 or 6 hours.

The same thing happened to my little brothers PSP.It's weird.He charges it for a whole day and then he only gets like three hours playing time.We even sent it to the company to get it fixed but they said there was nothing wrong with it.I think it's because they didn't make the first PSP's as good as the new ones,because one of my friends that's a guy has one of the new PSPs and it's battery doesn't run out of battery as fast as my brothers.It totally sucks but its a good thing my bro is getting a new one for his birthday.Good luck!

go to http://www.dealextreme.com and search PSP battery should cost like $5.00 and buy that battery it will last for 10-12 hours.

Could be that the battery is wearing out.
Could also be that the wireless isn't turned off.
