This is what i would do giving the options you gave....
May
Lavendar
San Diego in a gorgeous church near the water
Have the reception (in thelate afternoon- so you can seethe sunset) in a hotel on the beach...more comfortable for guests.
Like the Paradise Point hotel and resort...really nice place...or one that has a large window so you can see the ocean.

Lastly, if you do it in May...like i would : ) then I would go with spagetti strap...it looks better and your dress isn't fallng down all night especially if your dancing. ; ) Congrats! hope this helps.

Hi and congratulations on your engagement!

Really, all of these are YOUR personal choices!! But since you asked, here are my answers.

1. You live in an area that has nice weather year round, but I would choose May. I just love May. BUT....it depends on when you can reserve your reception venue....so you better decide quickly and book something.

2. For May OR June, I would choose a soft green OR the lavendar. Personally, I don't like teal.

3. Church....beach....up to you!

4. Reception: definitely a restaurant. NOT a club.

5. Either strapless or spaghetti straps....whatever dress YOU like and looks good on YOU!

Congratulations again and happy planning!

1. Month - I got married in June. May is usually nice as far as weather goes, but it is a very popular month to marry. Your ceremony/reception location of choice may already be booked up. On such short notice, you might have the best luck getting reservations for something in March.

2. For color, consider your bridesmaids skin tones and your favorite flowers if you really have no idea. Soft green can look terrible on some complexions.

3. This is for you two to fight out. Are you members of a church? Also, if you get married in March, consider the weather for an outdoor wedding.

4. Whatever...whichever is available on 6 months notice. Its up to you guys.

5. Find a dress you looooove. This is what you should get.

Keep in mind that these are all just my opinions. I do not know you or your fiance. I don't know what you like, what your budget is, or what your guests will enjoy. Take each of these answers with a grain of salt because it is YOUR wedding, not ours. Listen to your heart and listen to your fiance (it is his wedding, too, after all). Compromise. Do what you like, not what we like.

March will be cheapest, May and June will be the most expensive. Keep in mind that these are 4 months, 6 months and 7 months away. That's not a huge amount of time to secure everything and get everything planned.
I like teal.
I say the beach but I'm not religious.
I work in the restaurant industry so I'd say the restaurant.
As for the dress, it depends on your body type and what looks good on you. Go try some on, and when you find the one, you'll know!!
Good luck and Congrats!!

CONGRATULATIONS to the both of you!!!

Personally.... I would pick the following,.... But remember its your day and you pick what you want!

1. Id pick May - Cause i got married in May and it was wonderful weather.... Not overly hot or cold!

2. Soft Green - Green is sooooo in atm... and i think it will be a colour that doesn't date... Know what i mean??

3. That one is up to you.... Maybe you need to speak it out with him on that one!!

4. Do a Restauant - It would be nice....

5. Have you thought about a really nice halter dress... I had Strapless and loved it.... bt nearly every bride has Strapless!

Good Luck!

These are all decisions you shouldn't be asking strangers about! But I will say that March might be a good month because things like flowers and a cake might be cheaper because it isn't the traditional wedding month like may and june are.

OK YOU and your GROOM should be deciding this, NOT US.

Compromise, write out a list of positives and negatives about each choice.
