it will give the system different ratio and you will get a "Check Engine" sign up..but if you reset the your timing it will not mess up your engine

this will also improve your cars engine life..because the ratio and timing will not screw it up

I just don't know how your going to get enough slack leaving the tensioner in place. Be carefull when the tensioner is removed and only gently turn the crank 20 degrees counter clockwise. After the tensioner is out. My arms are long enough front tire rim off and socket wrench on the crank nut and finger pushing the chain toward the center of the motor you can feel where you get max slack then stop. pull bolt and kind of angle out the old pump grease the o rings and place the new pump in>>>??? Get ready for the rattle on start back up! you will think something is broken!

Your timing should not have changed if you did not move the chain off of a sprocket. When you let the tensioner tighten back up it should return to it's original timing.

that's a equipped in risk-free practices device guy. it is large as quickly as I take mine in for an oil exchange or a vehicle wash some the place and the folk can't start up it. perhaps sometime i'm going to actual lead them to think of that it wont start up by means of fact of something they did. although, maximum probably its merely the starter is slightly unfastened. as long because it keeps to start, do not difficulty approximately it too a lot.
