so everytime someone uses the phone, my internet connection starts failing or becomes real slow?. it just started happening with a new phone we bought and its becoming a pain in the ***.

It very well could be a cordless phone if you are using a wireless router. If you have DSL it could be the filter as well.

I bet your phone is a 2.4 ghz phone. 2.4 ghz is the frequency your wireless router uses. The phone is in effect, jamming the router's channels. You may try opening the router software and changing the channel number on both the hub and the router. That might get the frequencies far enough apart to allow operation without any desensingl

Did you call your Internet Service Provider and ask them what may be causing the problem?
