I'm a sophomore in high school and track conditioning is coming up soon. Indoor I do 50m and 4x2 and outdoor i do 100m and 4x1. So, I need to know ways that I could improve my running.

I don't have an accurate time because i hurt myself last season when I was wearing my new spikes, I was in first and I fell, broke my collar bone. Don't worry I was in first and I got up and didn't come in last. I felt bad for the guy who was last.

Anyway, if anybody knows any training procedures to increase my sprint time it would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance/

Add leg weights when training, this will further enhance the muscles used for running as well as develop the lazy ones. But don't over do it or you might pull something off its origin. Start low and increase the weight in increments until you reach your goal. Remember, have patience and let your body respond naturally to the training . Good luck!

there are two types of muscle fibre..."endurance" and "fast twich".
your disciplines demand primarily twitch fibres.
hill sprints, up for building days and down for top speed days. (walking or jogging one direction and all out the other) and "Depth bombs", where you jump off of a platform one to three feet in height and spring up again off of the landing to shock your power muscles. as you reach a peak rebound limit, start adding some weight...maybe carry light dumbells and strive for maximum rebound height.
apart from that...run and rest, protein, carbs, glutein, creatine and some fluids.
weight training is great for breaking plateus or off season work, but coming into the season you need to build twitch.
oh, and core muscles...you need to transmit the power.
