Yes, USA is still spending $40 billion every month on killing people in war instead of using HALF that amount to provide health care to its citizens.

Cute question, but it indicates a long known problem that American people in general have no stomache for a long drawn out war....anywhere.
My advice might be to go back to sleep, because the troops are doing well and don't need any more discouragement than they've already been bombarded with. Considering that they are the one's over there fighting, and putting their lives on the line, the average American should consider themselves lucky to be living in a country where our all volunteer force is willing to put themselves in harms way to preserve America. All they have to do is sit down, be quiet and let them work....as congress pays the bills with our tax money. But before someone squacks about the money used up on the war, at least we will make advances and hopefully get a good ally out of the deal. what have we gotten from the waste in our tax dollar from congress in general ?
a $2 million dollar kick back to Sherman williams for developing a special paint that our tax dollar paid them to formulate ?
Subsidized spinach farmers ?
how about any of the $20 billion in pork projects that the democrats tried to tack on to the last appropriations bill ?
Government has never been good about spending our tax dollar efficiently, At least we will probably get something tangible from the war.

Don't worry after Mommy, changes your diapers, feeds you, you can go right back to sleep again, hopefully for a few more years.

Maybe if you were alert and on top of things are cared about your country you would have enlisted instead of snored your way through it!
