My mom is dieing in front of my eyes and I can't just sit by and watch. Please help anyone. Her medical condition is getting out of hand.

She has immense chest pains every other day and often holds her chest even when walking when she is considered "well." She went to the hospital in an ambulance last week, and now I wonder if she is gonna make it.

Today.. she told me she thinks she is gonna die. I can't deal with being a teenager without a mom.

Anyone idea on what the disease, cancer, or etc... is will be greatly appreciated. The doctors still don't know what it is.

Also any ideas on how to alleviate the pain? Maybe aspirin?

I assume your still in school. Have you spoken to your guidance councilor? Do you have another support guardian helping you out during your time? Maybe your guardian or father.... can see a family therapist. Sometimes its the best medicine.

Chest pains that severe are usually caused by blockage (of the heart) that can be caused by smoking, stress, cholesterol problems, and/or many other factors (which ultimately leads to heart attacks). The best thing is that she talks to her doctor & explain to him when the chest pains occur (during activity, while sleeping, etc.) Pain medicine is probably the best, unless it's cholestrol related.

Talk to your mom's doctor and let him/her know that you want the facts because that is better than your guesses.

I have to say that her symptoms could also be relatively benign disease like esophageal reflux or Tietze's syndrome.
