What do you think about this? Are we at 'the end of days' because of all this? (meaning, is this controversy, greediness, etc, the devil in disguise?) Do people even have real faith anymore? there are lots of articles going around about the feds getting involved. what's YOUR opinion?

jiahua448: we are all aware what the definition of 'mega church' is. thanks for your input.

Regarding lionof judah: i am referring to the additional scrutiny that is being applied to mega churches, namely Without Walls, and Creflo dollar, who preach 'prosperity theology' while driving around in expensive cars and million dollar homes.

honestly I'm more afraid of these types of people than I am of dying, or whatever happens in the end times. I'm more of a spiritual person than a religious person, and I think people like this just promote hysteria.

I think a lot of people go to these mega churches, esp the non denominational ones, to make themselves feel like they are going to church without having to fully engage or change their lives to follow a more extensive spiritual life. I am not trying to judge anyone, but lets face it. If you go to church for an hour a week where its all rock music and everyone is just fine and dandy and you can do whatever you want during the week but if you come for an hour on church and say your believe in God and are sorry then you are "saved" and you go on with the rest of your life with no real commitement to God or your faith, then arent you just kind of playing lipservice to the whole religion concept.

This is what a lot of people at the huge mega church seem to do here.

I haven't heard about the mega churches being investigated. But I have listened to some of Joyce Meyers teaching and it is very good. I realize that her money management leaves a lot to be desired and I don't give to her ministry, or any of the big boys , so to speak..

Mega Churches are horrid, they introduce a cult-like aspect to religion they replace historic beautiful arcitechture with huge gray boxes

I think it is far past time for them all to be investigated and regulated.
The amount of obvious criminal activity and fraud going on around many of the Teleministries is astounding.

Some people have gotten greedy, AGAIN.

Given how often this occurs, I shouldn't think it signals the end of days.

Mega churches are not bad if they do official business with Jesus Christ. More people the better
