I wrap it in foil and heat it that way. Then right at the end I open the foil to expose the chicken and turn the oven up really hot just for a few minutes till it crisps up again. I find doing it in foil first keeps it from drying out. I do it in the toaster oven but that's what I use most. Don't even try the microwave for that - it just won't work.

Yum! Go ahead and stick in the oven at 350-375 or so for 10 minutes or so (these are only approximations because you should keep an eye on it and make adjustments accordingly). Putting it in the microwave will re-heat it, but it will be soggy. I don't know if you can make it seem like it JUST came out of the fryer, but it will still be good!

Happy eating!

that's not a good idea....to reheat chicken that has already been fried? it'll never taste the same as it did when it was originally cooked. and it won't get crisp....sorry, i have been trying to experiment on that one, and i have NEVER been able to come up with a decent solution to have it taste as good as it once did. you always have to fry it fresh to fully enjoy it....baking it will only bring out all the grease and make it taste lousy and soft. no one can tell you a real method that works...you will have to fry fresh chicken...sorry!

however, i can tell you to smother day old fried chicken in a can of cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup. simmer it for 25 minutes with a lid on. add in a small amount of water, and a pinch of dried thyme. also, throw in some sliced onions. serve with rice, rolls, and salad. it will taste decent enough to like and enjoy.

Once you've refrigerated fried chicken, it will taste different that when it was fresh from the frying. Different doesn't mean bad. Yes, you can re-heat fried chicken in the oven, but by all means, don't try and re-fry it. Best suggestion I have is "don't" re-heat it. Cold fried chicken is delish!

in an oven at about 325ºF, and it's best on a pizzaor baking stone, so the grease doesn't make the crust soggy.
