Kris ultimately there are no beginnings and no ends just a bit of temporary stuff in the middle. Because we are stuck in the middle we only have limited vision. There are huge time frames and vast potentialities available. We are just too young as sentient beings to see beyond our limited conceptual horizons. Give physicist Max Tegmark's proposal of infinite universes all moments and possibilities will exist at every moment in time forever. This is an upshot of one-to-one denumerable infinite (given infinite universes there are no more atoms that planets thatn sentient beings) and particle wave duality. The problem with this stuff is that young people are not informed or educated in the deeper aspects of physics, maths and cosmology. Academics guard their knowledge and only dispense it (with an empirical bias) when you go to university. If I had my way we would teach this stuff in primary school and get kids thinking creatively. The academic control of knowledge excludes many competent young people. Most technical issues can be put into ordinary language and as a consequence do not demand technical training. We are blinded by our own self-importance and rather than explore the unknown opt for the known and secure. That is why creative thinkers often keep away from the establishment. Probabilities rule material reality so there are many pathways that any world can take none of them fixed. This is the exciting part about the evolution of subjectivity. There is not one future there are many and they will all happen somewhere. This is what makes us human. How we live in the world also effects how the future will turn out. Technology and equitable distribution of resources can solve our problems. For example have a look at the Millennium Project (Google or Wicki) run out of the UN by one of the great modern economists Jeffrey Sachs. This guy is a genius. He and a bunch of other academics demonstrate if you take 7% of GDP (gross Domestic Product) from the twenty six richest countries and manage it sensibly a large dent could be made in world poverty by 2026. It indicates that you guys must not give up. You have got to ask the right questions and force the old fossils who run the world too act in a compassionate and caring way. Stop thinking about ends and start thinking about what you can do to make a difference. It all matters. All these smart people peddling religious ideology and scientific determinism are not stopping the increasing rate of hopelessness and youth suicide. You can't trust these guys so start thinking for yourself.

"Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. Earth and sky fled from his presence, and there was no place for them. And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what he had done. Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. If anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away."
He who was seated on the throne said, "I am making everything new!" Then he said, "Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true."

i know, this is actually happening NOW! More animals are going to be extinct, resources are running out, chaos everywhere, temperature is rising year by year (and it will come to the fact that this earth is too hot to live in). IT'S already HAPPENING! but when it will end? ONLY God knows, not Jesus not the spirit, only God knows!

Nobody could know the answer to that question. Maybe a big meteor will hit us, maybe global warming will lead to mega-storms, famine, and war. Maybe we'll be done in by some virus. Or maybe we'll hang on for a few billion years more until the sun goes all supernova on our butts.

Sun will expand, unless something else kills us first. But we don't have to worry about that, the odds are with us that we will die before all life on earth dies.

The Bible tells us one day and we don't know when, Jesus is going to come back and take us to heaven. So were not dieing were going to be with Jesus and how cool is that!! All we have to do is follow his laws and accept him in our heart! We can come to him in everything and know that he is our father and best friend! We can give him all of our problems and know in the end if we do everything we can to follow his laws, give him everything, and accept him in our heart, because he wants us to be with him, we will spend eternal life with him.
