If we take these assumptions to be true(which they are from my understanding):
1.)Pantheism involves referring and respecting nature, Admiring the beauty and elegance that pleases the senses.
2.)Marijuana increases your senses(food tastes better, music is more rythmic, colors are more vibrant.)
Then why cant we use marijuana in 'religious'(I use that term loosely) for increasing our appreciation for the earth, its beauty, and the sensory awarding gifts it has to offer?
Please dont say:
1.)If marijuana is made legal, heroin will be made legal.(Slippery slope argument, not very ethical.)
2.) Marijuana should stay illegal because its unheathy for you (Unheathy is a subjective word,e.i. the suns rays are unhealthy because they can cause skin cancer)
3.)Marijuana is immoral because the bible says so.(LOL)
etc.
Serious question, please dont get hostile.

Because the government cannot regulate a tax on it. They are not making any money, so therefore you cannot have it.
AND most of your politicians are Christian. They like imposing their beliefs into our society by passing laws that go along with their agenda.
How's that? =)

i acually used peyote, after walking in the woods for hours, an indian gave me some, i had a vision of my dad,...yes i know a few indians. I think drugs like marijuana and peyote could be used in moderation with meditation or vision quests. its up to you in the end, no one tells u what to do after church right........ps - if u take peyote have a friend near, u may wander off...
the downside of frequent pot usuage can be mood swings when u dont have it, too much of an appetite, and laziness, notice i said "moderation", even too much drinking of water has side-effects

This is the world!
This world is filled with amazing goodies and gadgets!
Man has used sensory enhancements to find answers!
Man has used sensory deprivation to find answers!
Man is still searching for these same answers! Is it not so?
Neither process allows mans consciousness to truly develop, as man has envisioned.
A human must truly understand the senses and master them, instead of letting the senses master the human!
Mind altering products are not necessary for a human. A human must alter his or her own mind. There are many methods, and each person must pick or choose what is right for them. If the mind is quieted, one will understand that no outside source is necessary. The outcome is most beautiful, and must be experienced to fully grasp the awareness. True Peacefulness can be only understood by the individual trying to find their own silence.
"Peace be always with you"

because the government doesn't want people thinking and was illegalized for political reasons and lied about and people still believe the lies.
i blame hippies for the illegalization of some drugs and why pot is still illegal.
it should be allowed for "religious" purposes but people are brainwashed. i would never legalize it because corporations would take over selling weed, increase the price and put chemicals in it. i love my marijuana and don't want people screwing with it.

Please excuse my intrusion. I am a Christian who once used pot daily. I don't like it for myself, but am a supporter of it's being legal.
I support the religious usage of marijuana; if that right is untouchable by the government, then my rights of being a Christian is protected.

b/c you cannot stop using it; and you'll make a mess trying to get the next fix
b/c despite all the "increased senses" people under influence keep hurting themselves and others.
b/c couple buddies of mine who smoked it had to quit over health and life problem, and did not regret the decision.
(no, they were not Christian)
