that Christians change their mind and story to conform to this? (The same goes for Muslims and the Koran)

See, take the second answer for an example. There are a seemingly infinite number of scientific falsehoods and contradictions in the Bible, but as far as the average Christian knows, it's the infallible word of God, no matter how screwed up it is.

Don't make me dig up too many more; it's obvious that the Bible is full of horse crap.

Are you all really that dense that you think the Bible has no contradictions or inaccuracies? I don't know which is more prevalent, your ignorance or your outright stupidity.

Just as I thought; a load of unintelligible answers and a few decent non-Christian viewpoints. Oh well, that was a waste of points.

Salam
I wasn't going to answer but since I seen Same goes for Al Quran then I know for sure its a place for some peaceful understanding of such things inshAllah.
When you prove something wrong in any religion its good to show the scripture your trying to prove wrong. As we know 2000 years ago people did not talk like us. That is first and secondly mankind kept getting it wrong and still is so what are you stating is that mankind found error against its own error. Now if your talking about The Quran I have yet to see anyone state anything in the Quran that has not already been stomped out with logic and truth from not only the Quran, but the Tefseer of the Quran and or the Hadith of Rasool Allah Saw. First of all your talking to a level of people that have really no understanding of such proof other than to prove themselves wrong to each other. Well then everyone is wrong then as you state. Which is impossible. The religions stepped up like stairs and that is what was given and that is how it works if you decide you don't want to walk up those stairs then that is your choice. Show me one area in Islamic scripture that is needing clairification and I will give to you also in the Bible as well, there is those of the faith that are along side other faiths and that is on higher level than any Yahoo anything ahha.. what a joke it is when we state a website like Yahoo to be the truth to all things.
You are proving humans wrong, but when you talk about the Quran it has no contridition to itself besides can you read arabic I doubt it, the way the book came was that way, so learn how to read arabic first and then go and tell me the same thing sabout the Quran in which at that time you will not be able to tell me anything from this babble you have created once again for others to pick and poke at. Your own disbelieve of things has caused your grief and or the grief you hope to reveal. Are you asking humans about human things well that is fine, when then will you ask your Lord about those things he sent you as a mercy and guidance to all creations alike? Wake up will ya my goodness!

Actually the links you provide are full of "horse feathers", only I would invite you to think of a different animal and a different animal product.
The Bible IS the infallible word of God. Any apparent contradictions have one of two sources. Either there was an error in translation or there is an error in the reader's understanding of two passages that seem to contradict one another.
Here's a link for you that explains many of the issues raised by the links that you provided.

I would say that most people of faith simply ignore the evidence rather than try to account for it.
Challenge to Christians: Why was it necessary for a human to be sacrificed so that our "sins" could be forgiven? Why did God make this a requirement? Could he have simply forgiven us? Did he just want us to murder someone for his amusement? If so, then doesn't his demand for a human sacrifice make him guilty of violating the same moral code he demands of us and, consequently, unworthy of worship? Furthermore, by what natural means did this human sacrifice take away our responsibility for our actions? Could God NOT have forgiven us without the human sacrifice? Were his hands tied, so to speak? If so, this rules out omnipotence, and since your faith is based, in part, on the presumption that God is omnipotent, how many other foundational doctrines are false?
Ask yourself why you accepted this story as truth without asking these questions first.

Why can't religion be afforded the same liberty to change as science does? As believers gain greater understanding, their beliefs are going to change. Religion is a work in progress. I'm sure there will be many more changes over time. I don't think its a case of the Bible being wrong, but rather the interpretations are wrong.

God does NOT contradict himself. Have you ever read the whole Bible? You may have but I have a feeling you haven't. If you don't how can you know? Isn't that just believing someone else? That's what you said we do. But people fail to recognize the difference in the Old and New Testaments.

First of all, the Infallible Word of God is Jesus Christ. The Bible is the 'inspired word of God'. Not infallible.
I never was the one who told you that the Bible was the inerrant word of God. That's the Fundamentalists. You got the wrong guy.

Nothing has been proven wrong about the Bible so far. In fact, a lot of things have been proven right, such as the existance of Jericho, and the dead sea scrolls.
