Lets say that you have an Imus or Kramer or Dog or whoever...

If you catch them saying a racial term and can provide a tape or 2 witnesses, how about this:

You call the cops and they bring over specially designed handcuffs. They will be slightly less restrictive than regular cuffs (longer chain in the middle) but will be designed to be tight and painful around the wrists.

We're not talking super-painful, just enough that it hurts pretty badly whenever they try to rotate their wrists (which naturally people will do).

They will get to go about their daily affairs to work and stuff, but will be in handcuffs that will hurt them while they are at work.

Like if they are in the office and typing, it will hurt them pretty bad and leave them with marked, sore wrists for weeks.

The handcuffs can then be taken off, and stiffer penalties will be imposed next time (like handcuffs for a month and having to keep the same shirt on).

I think this will be a great jail free solution

You can disagree with my suggestion all you want (this is just an idea) but D SQUARED is way outta line with his disrespectful comment.

This isn't torture, it's just restricting movement and hurting a person to teach them a lesson. It requires no jail time and minimal tax dollars. Plus it doesn't kill anyone. Just a thought.

Sticks and stones may break my bones...But what's the point in punishing people for using the "N-word"? IF they were inciting racially motivated hate crimes that's a different story..But I totally aggree with Sarge on this one...IF it's ok people with a greater ability to tan to say it THEN WHY should we tell white people they cant say it??? Isnt that being racist too? are we not descriminating the whites and segregating them in vocabulary?? Black folks-What's good for one is good for the other...either take back the word and reinvent it in a positive manner or stop using it all together... I've been confused as african american so i know what it's liek to be discriminated against and racially berated..but...why cry about it when any "Joe Schmoe wit da illest flow" can say N this and N that......get real

I believe each little thing you reported. i've got in ordinary terms seen one or perhaps 2 human beings doing it, and no count number if or no longer they are Floyd followers or no longer i don't be attentive to, yet i think of they are in simple terms attempting to troll and piss Pacquiao followers off, via fact they are extremely undemanding to annoy. the two way, it somewhat is previous pathetic. no count number what question is asked, there is often some form of racist answer. You get human beings accusing Sean G and Jose Martinez of having dissimilar money owed, and adult males like Fred C who in simple terms consistently use racial slurs. The combat itself isn't even going on, so what precisely is the component of struggling with over it? while genuine followers can communicate with regard to the combat in a civilized way, then it is definitely advantageous. yet while the trolls come into the equations, they are an entire buzz kill.

We are suppossed to have freedom of speech. People say things all the time, I don't necessarily think it's right, but hey if someone says something that I find offensive then - oh well, thats the price I pay for living in a country that has a first amendment right. For one, your "solution" is a poor one, it is considered cruel and unusual punishment. Secondly, you are delusional, this sort of punishment would be better imposed on more serious offenses like DWI's. We don't live in Singapore.

One of our rights is that of free speech. It doesn't say politically correct speech, or intelligent speech, or even intelligible speech. It says "FREE SPEECH". No matter how moronic or idiotic someones statements might be, we should not start imposing corporal or criminal punishment on them for verbally expressing their thoughts. Our founding fathers understood that if the public finds someones words objectionable, those persons would find themselves without an audience to listen to their garbage. And considering that in most instances they spout tripe so they can get attention, isn't ignoring them the most effective response. But the minute we start relinquishing our right of free speech to political correctness or what is deemed appropriate or sensitive enough, we surrender our freedom. Because who knows where the censors will draw the line next.

You want to know what makes me mad? Imus said Nappy headed hoes everyone gets mad. Kramer from Seinfeld uses the "N" word but Dave Shapelle can use the "N" word in just about all of his skits and nobody says anything. On Sunday night football NBC is doing this turn out the lights thing and Tiki Barber made a comment that he can't wait until they turn the lights back on so people can see him. You don't see anyone calling from him to be fired. Why do we only attack white people that say the "N" word but yet we let it slide from black people that say it more than the white people? Things in this country NEED to change.

For one, it's cruel and unusual punishment. Number two, not liking someone because thay are of a particular race is not against the law. Neither is expressing that thought either.

Sorry, people have the right and are free to be *******.

Adjust accordingly and take your ideas of micro-managing everyone's life and thoughts somewhere else!

You want to use handcuffs to silence someones freedom of speech? When I see rappers in those handcuffs for using the same exact WORD those 3 people you quoted are then I will be able to endorse them. REMEMBER EQUALITY? lets treat EVERYONE THE SAME!

Seems to me you want to be the first to be placed in your "handcuffs". Why don't you just go to a place where you can get dominated and get the hell beat out of you? I will be the first to say it, you have been naughty very naughty and must be punished. Feel better?

The idiotic nature of your post not withstanding... Ever hear of a little thing called 'Freedom of Speach'??
I didn't know we were supposed to be criminally punishing people for saying stupid things. Might not want to start that, the way you're going you'll be next.

Saying racial slurs is not against the law. So you can say all the racial slurs you want and can not be arrested for it. Freedom of speech is protected - even when people say tacky ignorant things.
