What's wrong with Mexico? Is that place so bad that they're willing to risk their lives to live here? They don't speak english so I can't ask them.

Is it a good situation in Mexico? No, not for most of them. There is poverty, lawlessness and a corrupt govt.

But a better question: Is it really better to leave Mexico and become a criminal in the US? Why not stay where you are and fight for it to become a better situation for all your brothers in your homeland?

If not them, then who? Isn't it lazy, irresponsible, and selfish to walk away without attempting to fix it? Arent you exporting your problems with you to another country? And aren't you just changing one set of problems for a new set?

Until Mexico--and MexiCANs--undertake the necessary social, financial and legislative reform necessary to create a better situation in Mexico...this crap will continue.

ANd don't say it CANT BE DONE. Japan in the 1930s vs Japan in the 1960s is a relevant example of YES, countries can experience wholesale change.

Let's hope it doesn't take a little annoyance like two atomic bombs dropped on Mexico before Mexicans wake up and take personal responsibility and accountability for fixing their country.

Its not that Mexico is so bad is that Mexico doesn't have that many work for a lot of people that do not have an education like over here in the U.S. the Mexicans that do not have a education can not get a good job that pays good money. and over here they can get a job as farmers or in the fields

There is more opportunity for Mexicans to support their family by working in the US and risk their lives to do so. With that said, there may or may not be a particular thing wrong with Mexico, but there might be limited opportunities to support a family.

You think Mexico is the only place from which people come to the US?

Anyone who lables people as whole or calls them roaches, lacks understanding. With that said they obviously risk their life for a reason what kind of question is that? And how many have you asked? Its ironic how some say that they dont speak english but many millions have gone thru the same school system that some say they invade and you have to learn english to make it thru. I can use the word "stupid" to describe your question, but it takes questions to learn things. Or maybe its all just a rant of ignorance in your part...

this lady just asked another question and felt so guilty that she had to remove it, lol.
here is what she had asked:
the question: Who do you call if you suspect that there are illegal immigrants living next door to you? Do I call the cops?
I live in Minnesota, how they ended up here I don't know but I don't like it and I want them to go back to whatever 3rd world contry they came from. What happens if they are caught?

my answer
: main_chalu_hu_re Your Answer: why would you interfere with anyones life, they may be here for any reason: friends, relatives, illness or food!! dont harm them unless they harm you. if u r so much concerned about such issues first throw out the ppl from the first world countries(in ur lang) who r on drugs, ppl who kill others and ppl molesting kids who r not ppl from third world countries in most of the cases! dont be so ignorant n still if you dont care just call the cops if you have the guts.
and later when i refreshed the page i find out that the question dusnt exist anymore.
pathetic!

It's more of what are they running to, and that is $$$. Our government does all that theirs doesn't plus some. Does that make it ok? No. There is far more to be had here than there and there has been little discouragement by either government to not take advantage of that. Not until as of late.

It is not the poorest of the poor that are coming over, the poorest of the poor can't afford to come over even illegally. I know I lived there. The ones that are coming over are the ones that have enough to get by and a little extra. It is expensive to get a smuggler to bring you over the border, just the cost of food to get you across is pricey. Don't let them fool you, all they want is money and amenities that they don't want to pay for.

First you have to understand it's not all Mexicans that are leaving. Its the poorest of the poor. Mexico's economy is not strong enough to support those who live in extreme poverty. So they come to the United States to get a job and some money to bring back to Mexico, if they decide to return.
