Well corrently my fastest is 1 minutes 17, My average is 1 minute 30 seconds. I want to get my fastest down to about a minute. Besides running the Four Forty a lot. What might help any other type of running? oh and I'm 13 D:

Well, the 400 is arguably the hardest race to run because it's a long-distance sprint.
Star off too fast and you'll hit your wall early on and just blow the race. Start off too slow and it's nearly impossible to catch up.
I would suggest running intervals. Try running 200, 400, 600, 400, 200 with recovery in between. Sprint them 80%- 100%...the different distances will give your muscles a varying workout and will tweak you here and there. For example, the 200 is half the distance and will help with your power. The 600 is longer than the distance and will help with your stamina. Don't do this more than twice in one week ( as it is a difficult workout).

well of coarse take steroids.. HE HE just kidding. I don't think that there are any other reasonable ways to get faster other than run a lot, or work out your legs in a gym. You could use a quick and steady pace as well, i mean its not that far. Just give it your all baby, rest afterwards

start-out a lil slow (Jog) and then go fatser and faster
