Despite the fact that both feline and canine revolution use selamectin, I'm pretty sure the dose is different. Animals can usually tolerate 10x the normal dose, but I can't find the box for my cats and I'm having a hard time finding dosages. That cat needs to see a vet. If you can't afford emergency care, you can try to use something like Care Credit. If you can't afford veterinary care for an animal, you really shouldn't have one. It's considered neglect (by law) not to take a sick animal to the vet whether you have the means or not.

Go online and get the 800 number of the flea medication you put on your cat. Hopefully they will have a hotline, and hopefully it will be manned at this hour. Call and tell them what you have done. See if they can suggest anything.

Also, CALL the emergency veterinary facility, if you have one, in your area, and simply explain the no-money thing and the seizures. You just might luck out and get some assistance. Beg -- I have done this -- and offered to clean cages or pay on time.

If you have a friend who is a human nurse or physician, call them and ask them if there is any intervention they would suggest. If you take seizure medication, it is just POSSIBLE -- if you are the luckiest person on the face of the earth, that your medication will also work for a cat. DO NOT try giving it to your kitten unless you are sure, but see if you can find out, and also find out about dosage. Don't compound the first error with a second, be sure. But if you do luck out this way, just maybe you will be able to help

You can at least pick up the phone to an emergency vet, you'll get better answers than sitting in front of your computer.

If the cat is still having seizures then you have no choice but to go to a vet. Continued seizuring can cause coma and brain damage, then death. It needs controlling with diazepam. You must have some money, you have a computer and the internet!

You need to get that cat to a vet immediately. The cat is having seizures because it was poisoned by the revolution. Getting him to the vet is the only way to help him.

Well I think this is a bogus post. Revolution for dogs is the same medicine as for cats it's just twice as strong. So "two drops" of it would not cause a cat to go into seizures. Please find something better to do with your time.

And if this is real post then please give this cat up to someone with the funds - and sense - to be a cat owner.

You are going to have to take the cat to vet or it will die. Take it even if you do not have the money. You may have to give the cat up or find a donor but isn't that better then watching it die?

Your cat could be freaking out because of the fleas attacking trying to get away from the solution.

I don't think there is much you can do at home. That stuff is absorbed through the skin. You might call the vet and see if they will give you any advice over the phone.

sorry, your cat is probably going to die. i done that once when i was a teen. put dog dip on a cat. we didnt have emergency vets anywhere around us, and my father had to put the cat down. it was hallucinating and drooling and seizing. then i bought that famous brand of cat flea spray, cant remember the name, but back in 87, and it was a recall. the cat pulled through, but kidney function were trashed, and the cat had a sad year of life before it just died in its bed . sorry, definately not good news for kitty.
