Pomegranates have been in season about 2 weeks. Look at your local grocery store. Most stores will have a special display for them this time of the year. If the store doesn't have them, ask for them. There are bound to be other people that like pomegranates. They may not know that all they have to do is ask the Produce Manager for them. Oh, by the way, I love pomegranates.

I do not know where you are. I am in Modesto California and have been picking them like crazy. They are in season here now and have been for about 2 weeks. They can be picked when the skin begins to crack if you are near the trees. If not they will be in the stores. if you are lucky you will be able to pick your own and plenty of them to make juice. They are the best antioxidant. Kids love them but they do stain. Also to make jam is excellent.
