I wouldn't. My pup never even went outside and she died of parvo. The vet I was going to also said there is a parvo outbreak. For your pups sake, don't do it.

It is not safe until your pup has had all his shots. Usually by 16 weeks old their shots are finished, just depends on when you started getting them. What did your vet say about taking him in the neighborhood?
There are so many toxins and dangers in our world, why tempt the odds?

If you're vet said parvo is bad right now, why would you even consider walking your puppy?!

No you shouldn't walk your pup right now. He can still get Parvo. Is the pup fully vaccinated?? Even if it is the vaccines still need at least 2 weeks to full immunize your pup. Why would you want to risk your pups health??
Keep him/her safe at home in your yard until the vet say's it's safe.

well if you have her shots/vaccination then start to take her for small walks but do not let her eat/smell other dogs poop garbage etc...if she does not have her vaccinations then you should only take her for a small walk in your yard or put her in your backyard if it is fenced and clean.one of my dogs brothers died of parvo....only a few months too!how sadd.anyways some vets are a waste of time and i learned that a few times with 6 dogs now.some are excellent and they know what they are talking about.to be safe i would not take her for walks out of your yard yet..!!!

no parvo is very serious and an awful way to go and to watch. also make sure your back yard is clean of parvo. your vet is right.
