im 14 years old and want to get into great shape
athletic and strong

im very skinny, (kinda scrawny)
and i have very limited acces to gym, like once a month

any pointers?

Hi!

I am your age too..lol.

Okay so, here are some ideas:

1. Join a sports team. I compete in soccer and track, and I am skinny yet very strong and muscular looking. Plus, it's a good social experience.

2. go on runs whenever you get bored....it really will help get you in shape.

3. start doing any active activities that you thik you would enjoy...rock climbing, running, biking, hikes, swimming, anything that will get your heart rate up.

It will take awhile to get in shape, but it will be worth it, and who knows, maybe you will find a new hobby on the way of getting in great shape!

Run! I have a brother who used to be pretty skinny, he started running and adding things like lunges, squats, pushups, etc and then joined a gym where he lifted 3 days a week and really filled out. Anyway, running is great for your lungs and adding some great definition. Also, eat good fats and for your age, olive oil, eggs, chicken, fish, veggies, whole grains and no junk will really make a difference.

You can take nice long walks. You can invest in some weights.

go buy sum weights durrrrrrrrrrrrr
or do push ups
