I'd say you could perform better, as you would be more motivated to get to practices, games, and even practice on your own. Then there is also the fact that, as long as you take your meds consistently, you are more likely to feel your own "normal" again, and can stop worrying while your playing sports.

I've never heard this, but I suppose if you were clinically depressed before taking it the serotine could give you a boost of motivation to get out and play. And possibly quicker reactions.
