This is hilarious to almost any thinking person, Christian or otherwise. It claims to teach the "truth" of Biblical creation. What it really does though is to show how utterly absurd a literal interpretation of the creation story is.

It says most Christians are wrong, and "proves" that six days of creation "had" to be actual 24-hour days.

It says that nothing was "prehistoric" and that even the word "prehistoric" was just made up "to brainwash us."

It even has a walking, talking snake, complete with hands.

And the poor schmuck in the story who is being told all this says, "That blows me away! My mind is reeling!" If that story blows his mind, it's no wonder he can't comprehend science.

This is published by Chick Publications, which has been producing mini-comic books full of such stories since I was a kid in the '60's and selling them for 15c each. Don't you wonder how much money they've made by "saving" souls?

Thanks to all for your answers. Can you believe that when I asked this question earlier, someone reported it as a violation of the rules of conduct? Some people can't stand to have their ideas challenged, and that is usually because they have doubts about those ideas and fear that they might be proven wrong. I feel sorry for such people.

That is extremely funny and extremely scary at the same time...

Love how the snake looks like that dinosaur drawing from the kid's movie Land Before Time. And how Eve's only description is to be beautiful and for Adam (as if women had no agency of their own). How completely brainwashed does someone have to be to believe in this? Plants before stars? A universe disturbingly mediocre and simplified? Yikes, I sincerely hope nobody is gullible enough to buy into the lies.

When God created the heavens after which the earth, the heavens comprise the entire stars, the solar, and so forth. That is the supply of the sunshine. Some seem to day 4 for the production of the solar, moon, and stars, however that is now not whilst, however it is the first point out within the production account of "why." It says for seasons, days, years, and so forth. It's now not whilst the ones our bodies have been created Many Christians like myself don't have any obstacle with a significant bang, or God operating in an evolutionary procedure. Day is used figuratively for a interval of time in lots of scriptures, and the day/age idea of the production believes there may also be thousands to billions of years among the times. The order for the production parallels the equal order technological know-how offers. First comes the heavens (stars, and so forth.), then an empty earth with out type, then land adopted via oceans, then plant lifestyles adopted via the primary clever lifestyles within the sea, then comes birds (which in line with technological know-how are descendants of dinosaurs), then mammals, then a extra special wild animal, and ultimately guy. It's truthfully effective that it offers an order three,000 plus years earlier than technological know-how confirms that equal order. Adam isn't created till after the 7th day, and the day/age idea believes the person created at the 6th day isn't the equal as Adam who's first stated after the 7th day. That allows for for cave guys, and explains wherein Adam and Eve's kids determined better halves, given that there have been folks earlier than them. As a long way as clever layout, whilst a few Christians latch onto an international that's 6,000 years historical, the suggestion of "now not clever" involves my brain. They must be satisfied that technological know-how isn't the enemy, that technological know-how truthfully corroborates the biblical order. Likewise, non-religionists must provide an explanation for how Genesis got here up with the equal order as technological know-how, for the reason that how that could relate to clever layout. From a systematic perspective, a tremendous vapor cloud of water blanketed the earth, and would now not settle on this planet to type the oceans till the earth cooled down and solidified. So, no gentle would penetrate this thick cloud of water. In Genesis, the allow there be gentle on this planet would correspond to this settling of the waters at the floor.

I guess for you, the 'out of nothing' theory works out well.
But in my opinion zero plus zero= is always zero, there always has to be a factor other than zero. Thus, I believe in a God that 'made' everyone I know.
FYI: I agree with the fact that Darwin's so-called "deathbed conversion" was a hoax, there was never enough proof to support it, some fanatic just made it all up to conveniently defend the creation theory, on the other hand, the bible has NEVER been proven wrong.

Here's the question I have:

God said that if Adam/Eve ate of the Tree of Life, they would surely DIE.

They ate anyway.

Admittedly, they died, but it was a heck of a long time after eating from that darn tree.

So, why didn't God just make the fruit of the tree poisonous to man, and get Adam/Eve's dying over with instead of going thru all that original sin stuff and start mankind again with, oh, say, Dick and Jane?

Just wondering.

Yes.
Taking literally the old books is quite silly.
They contain plenty of symbolic tales written for the average cultural level of ~2000 years ago.

I particularly liked the button that says, "Meet Jesus." I was a little afraid to click on it. Thought I might blow up, or something.

More truth in this simple tract then I have heard from you evolutionists here in a lifetime. Chick publication tracts have nothing but truth in them. You just need the wisdom to believe it. Come to Christ
