honestly, reading the manual is the best way to find out. (it takes less time than you think!)

If you are just down to the basics, turning it on set on auto etc.......what you don't understand call camera 800 #. They will help. That is in between reading and re-reading owner's manual. IF your camera takes AA batteries, hopefully you bought rechargeables which you must charge before using camera. Reading the manual, handling camera, hit different settings, calling camera company...you'll succeed.
But as was said before me, you gots to read manual.
Take it to store where you bought it, let them set camera on auto etc. just to get you going. BUT no matter what camera you have, reading manual is a must even when taking pictures on auto. PS-Just to get you started, take your camera to ANY camera place...I'm sure even Best Buy would help you get started.

READ & STUDY the Owner's Manual that came with the camera. It wasn't packed as filler material. It is the only way you can learn to use your camera.
