Yes carni,

I usd to feel the same way. Now I have lots of energy.

You did not mention if it was work related, but even if it is not, I feel this will help you.

I have been there and done it working so hard at work, I come home so mentaly, physically and emotionlly drained and tired. Then I did the following and it worked,

Go to a good book store and aks about your problem. Iknow there are books that can help.

Go to the library and talk to the a librain.. Most of them can direct you to the right books to read and take oout of the library. They also have computer you can type in subjects you need help on.

At work, you have the legal right to take 15 minute breaks if you work over 30 hours a week. If below that, you are entitled to a 15 minute break.

On your breaks, try to close your eyes and scan your body to help you find areas that are tigth and do your best to let them go. Do it at home too. Get a massage, take a long warm bath with a candle and shut the lights off. Drink water a lot because you may be dehydrated..

Try to exercise even if a short walk or stretching. Keep the same schedule when you go to bed each night and on the weekends too. Get out on the weekend if possible and walk as best you can.

Do not drink any alcohol, wine beer, caffeine before you go to bed.

Think postive and if you are comfortable talking to work friends or your manager/supervisor, tell them honestly how you feel and that you enjoy your job but you feel physically tired all the time. You want to do your job as best you can. if they are decent people, they will understand and give you help. They also will appreciate your honesty.

If none of this works, seek help from a doctor. Or a clinic depending on your age, you can free help. I am going to a free clinic in my area that will give you free blood tests and massage. You also may be having thyroid problems and bloos test can detect that. Check things out in your area where you can get free help like this. And if none of any of this works, seek a counselor or friend you can talk freely with. I have and it works. Seeking a counselor does not mean you are sick, you are asking help with your problem. If you have any hobbies, try doing them. What we enjoy helps us feel better. Join a fun group and get out and meet new people.

Hope this helps you,

yeah i think a lot about life in general, the universe. i basically let my mind drift off and can't really concentrate a lot esp. with too many people around me. but otherwise, i think i want to really think about stuff that will make people realize the truth but yes i do get physically tired from too much thinking and not letting steam out. i'll get headaches or just like really pissed off at anybody. it's like i think so much that i can't organize all that and then it gets cluttered in my mind. sometimes i daydream so much i forget what i'm doing such as copying a textbook and then daydreaming about the universe and before i know it, i'm done copying... lol. the weird thing is: i think a lot of crap and i get physically tired, but when i really concentrate on something and not just thinking creatively.. i get energized. maybe a tortured artist? idk.

yea its because your mind works like all other body parts. ie: if you run a mile your body will be tired. if you think really hard, your mind begins to get fatigued as well. just take a break or eat a little something when it happens
