we can. God loves all his children and we should too.

unfortunately human nature says otherwise....
human history proves it..
(Samuel Crow's right)
Put lots of people together without a common goal, and you will get trouble. Even if there's a common purpose, doesn't have to be religion, and there will always be people who want to what others don't. These people manage to wind each other up, and unless dealt with carefully, trouble inevitably breaks out.
Some would have it that there was no conflict in the golden age of prehistory, but there's no evidence for peace then either. It seems that the relative peace then was only because there were so few people, that there were rarely any valid reasons to fight over resources. It was easier, and less work to go elsewhere. (sometimes people can be treated as resources too...)

Awww because we're all too stubborn and selfish to realise there are other ways of living life and feel the need to argue over it.
I say more 4 day weekends like the one just passed and we'll all be so much nicer to each other lol

Because we war not with flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers and forces of wickedness in high places. Light and dark constantly struggle for supremacy, but in the end, light beats darkness. Good and evil, likewise, always struggle against one another, and good will always win. Choose to serve God, or you choose to serve Satan. That is the war, and war it is. If you're not choosing to serve God, no matter what your actions may be you're serving Satan's ends. If you do choose to serve God, then you'll do certain things like love your neighbor and your enemy, not return evil for evil but give a blessing instead, etc. ad infinitum. But make no mistake, this is war, and there are no prisoners taken by either side, and there is no neutral ground.

well I think that ppl are so "wrapped up" in being a "good Christian" that they forget how to be a friend...and being a good friend is Christian like.
Have u seen that movie "Saved". well the character that Mandy Moore plays has that problem...instead of trying to ask her friend why she was "getting way" from ppl and isolated herself she tried to perform and exorcism on her...it was silly. But ne ways...I think thats why most ppl act the way they do.

Unfortunately, it's hard to be friendly with people you believe are abominations in the eyes of your all-powerful god.
That is why religion has always been, and continues to be, the most divisive, and destructive social disease we have ever invented.

Christians are too closed-minded to be friends with anyone other than their kind. Here's a star.

By nature, human beings are territorial and competitive. In addition to this, they have different belief systems which are at odds and cannot be reconciled. In addition to this, greed drives them to war, to murder and to madness.
