Many Christians are a bit less fear based and more Christ - like.
You might really be surprised, if you had met as many gay Christians and gay - supporting Christians as I have over the years.
Peace,
;-)

Homosexuality is one of the worst abominations in the eyes of the Lord Our God. He made Adam and gave him Eve as a companion. He did not make Adam and Steve. Homosexuality is a perversion, an abomination, a crime, a sin against nature as created by Our Father in Heaven. The Almighty knows all and sees all and He can even read in the minds of people well before they are even born. So, if anyone has impure homosexual thoughts, even if that person resists lust and does not practice homosexuality, he or she will still be condemned for being impure and betraying the just and loving will of The Lord. Bless you.

If they believe in God and are "religious", God is not about religion, He is about a relationship and He is the word. His word says in 1Corinthians 6:9-11, that homosexuals will not inherit the kingdom of God. He loves them, He hates the sin. He forms us in the womb, but He does not make us gay. If you believe in God, then you believe what His word says. You cannot tear the pages out that do not fit your lifestyle.God regards it as sin, don't blame it on the Christians.

I wish it were true , but sadly some people who call themselves Christians embrace homosexuality. They are deceived. All men are born into sin since the fall of Adam. You are no more born to be a homosexual than the next man or woman. All men and women are born with the possibilty that they will choose the sin of homosexuality. Some do and others choose adultery, or fornication or , pedophilia, or beastiality, or incest, or fornication or stealing candy bars. It is all sin . You were not born to be a homosexual. Your view is that God said... " Ok Im going to make this guy a murderer and this guy a pedophile and this guy will steal candy bars and etc. No way Jose. All men sin, all men can be forgiven . Come to Christ

God created all of us but we all have a "cross" to bear. I love sex....love it! But I don't participate because I'm not married and if I did regardless that God created me, I would be sinning. The bible says, which is the word of GOD, that a man is not to lay down with another man etc....it is a sin. And if you are a Christian and you accept this behavior then you are not following God's commands.
We have a friend that is a family friend and he is a homosexual. He does not participate in the acts and has choosen to live a sexualy pure life by not doing so because he loves the Lord and he understands his word. That is his cross to bear. Life is not meant to be all games and fun. Life is hard and has hard choices. Eitehr you live for him or you don't. It is a choice and I made one just like our family friend did.
yes homosexuality is a sin.

by your logic, He created serial killers, rapists and child molesters also- I have seen some of those act very religious too! God created everyone but He gave us a choice over whether to succumb to temptation or not. Homosexuality is a sexual perversion, it is against God's law and it is wrong. A person may "feel like" participating in a homosexual act, they may "feel like" molesting or raping someone , they may "feel like" going on an axe murdering spree, but they don't have to give into that temptation and they can be delivered from those sinful tendencies.
The sin does not define the person unless they choose for it to.
A person can be as "religious" as they want but if they are justifying their sin and defiantly walking in it, then Jesus is not Lord over their life. On the other hand , a person can have "feelings" of homosexuality and truly desire Jesus to be Lord of their life, they will not walk defiantly in their sin and they will allow Jesus to change them from the inside out

I am a Christian, and I do not consider homosexuality to be a sin. Having spent a lot of time with gay friends--indeed, having lived with one of them--I do not believe orientation is a choice that is made, and sinning implies that there is a conscious will to turn against God.
However, promiscuity is a sin, regardless of orientation. I cannot say it is moral to have casual, loveless sex. That said, if a homosexual couple is in a loving, committed relationship, it is just as worthy of a blessing as anyone's.
Regardless, even if it is a sin, it is not defined as a mortal one, and every single human is, by definition, a sinner. Remember, "let he who is without sin..."

I'm a Christian and believe in the Father the Spirit and the Holy Ghost...but I'm not a virgin...jsut b/c I"m not a virgin doesn't make me any less of a Christian than someone who is a virgin...yes sex before marriage is a sin but I'm still a Christian
Homosexuality...same thing....just b/c u choose to experiment or live that lifestyle doesn't mean u don't believe in God...the lifestyle is against God...not the person. THATS JUST MY OPINION

but I consider Homosexual practices sins -- not all Christians believe as I do but the LION-share do agree with me.
Not that homosexuals aren't fine people, I like some gays better than some Christians.
You don't have to be a Non-sinner for me to like you. In-fact I am a sinner myself. but we can all repent thanks to Jesus Christ.

He created everyone. He created Hilter. That doesn't excuse Hitler's behavior. Nor does it excuse the behavior of homosexuals.
"Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God." 1Cor 6:9,10
"God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator— who is forever praised. Amen. Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion. Furthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done." Rom 1:24-28
Jude 1:7 "In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire."
Heb 13:4 "Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral."
Furthermore Jesus said concerning marriage "at the beginning of creation God ‘made them male and female.’" of which he took as a precedent for marriage
