did not go through the dealer.I used a company called EWC, out of St. Louis MO., and I checked with the better business bureau and the company looked good.. Been in business for 15 years, employs over 60 people, and have only had one complaint in 3 years. Do you know of this company???

dont know the company, but before you do it, make sure you get a list of local repair shops from them that will accept the warranty, and then check with the shops to make sure.. a warranty is all well and good, but if no one takes it, what good is it? You will have to pay your repair bills, and then hope you can get your money from the warranty company... Dealer warranties are generally good, but look around, and see what is out there. Just be careful.
