Johnson and Wales University (Culinary Institute) is located in Rhode Island, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia and Colorado. They have an excellent reputation world-wide and are one of the best Culinary Institutes in the country, if not the best. They offer a four-year Bachelor of Arts Program.
The International Culinary Schools at the Art Institute also offer a Bachelor of Arts Degree. They are located in Los Angeles, Chicago, Las Vegas and Minneapolis. These schools have diversified programs to choose from. (There are many more campuses but they have limited programs.)
Baltimore (Maryland) International College offers a Master's Degree Program.
The California Culinary Academy located in San Francisco. offers a two-year Associate's Degree Program.

My top 3 I looked at were in order from first to third:
Culinary Institute of America, Hyde Park, N.Y. (I went and graduated)
Johnson and Whales in Rhode Island
California Culinary Institute San Fransisco, Ca (I frequently go to enjoy the buffet they hold to the public every Friday.)
I loved attending the CIA and would go back over and over for new courses if I lived on the East coast. Every shcool has little differences that makes it it's own and you should select the school you want to attend by what you want to specialize in. Good Luck!
