Why are there so many religious nuts? I don't get it, and also do you believe in evolution?

FYI, evolution isn't saying we came from chimpanzees, its sayihng that we and the chimps come from a common ancestor

I'm not sure which of the religions you classify as nuts so I cannot accurately answer that question. I do think it is better to believe in God and be right than not to believe and be wrong one second after death. I believe that evolution in plants and animals, and creation in man.

Religion, like politics, is a very touchy subject.
People will believe what they believe no matter what anyone else says.
Wars have been fought over religious differences. Not very Christian, right? Killing someone in the name of your religion just doesn't seem right to me.
You can't change these people, all you can do is decide for yourself what you believe in and follow your heart. Hopefully, you won't turn into one of these "nuts"and try to cram it down everyone elses throats.

Yea probably because the base their intelligence operates from is the religion itself... which is pretty daft in my opinion. Science is life, maths is language, logic is thought, religion is man's attempts to explain the afterlife... to various degrees of success - so hardly useful using religion as the foundation for 'how' a person thinks.

No, I don't believe in evolution, and as for being religious nuts, I'd rather be a Jesus nut than a nut without hope of any hereafter.

There are nuts of all persuations.
I accept that evolution is the predominant theory in science today. I know there is some evidence to support it. I know there is no PROOF of it. Therefore, you need to have FAITH to BELIEVE IN it.

because, they are brainwashed from childhood ...so they base their beliefs on fictional characters such as jesus, marry, pink unicorn etc they are arrogant, rude & full of ignorance
