Why is Americas outlook on criminals so negative?

Question

Shouldn't we let all the criminals out of prison?

They were just trying to have a better life, why should other Americans have better stuff and more things?

Is it fair that someone gets separated from their children just because they broke stupid laws that they didn't like?

Shouldn't everyone be allowed to disregard the laws if they feel they are unfair? How can they get a decent life for their children unless they break the law?

Why should anyone have the right to say one person can have more and others should suffer?

People with good hearts should give away their stuff so everyone else can be happy.

No one except Native Americans have any right to any thing. Everyone else just came here and stole from them so they should all have to give up everything they stole.

And all the criminals should be forgiven and allowed to be free and have the same rights as everyone else.

So...a criminal that killed someone was just breaking "stupid laws"? Yeah...um, they are laws for a reason. You break it, you receive punishment. If there was no punishment, then laws would be pointless, people would just do what they want and get away with it, and a society with no rules is not a good thing.

Just like any other animal that was causing a problem, jail is a cage for humans who can not behave. Either that or we euthanize them too, which would you prefer.

Would you allow a dog that killed a child to run free, just because it should have the freedom that other dogs enjoy? Not much different there if the human was the criminal.Try thinking a little harder next time...

First off, native Americans came here across the land bridge and fought amongst each other, stole from each other and so on so it isnt just the evil Europeans. Look at the mass sacrifices of the Incas, Mayans and Aztecs along with how barbaric they were in general toward others.

I judge criminals on their crime first- rape or murder for instance get no chance of reprieve with me. Other crimes I look at why the person did it, the influences, then I look at what they are doing or are willing to do to change their life and how sincerely sorry they are. I understand that not all people caught for crimes are necessarily bad. I openly admit that I have done things that others have gone to jail for- thankfully that was a long time ago when I was young and stupid like so many others who get sucked into bad things- i got out, many dont
