Confucianism Or Legalism?

Which One Do You Prefer Is Better and why? HELP!!

I am a christian and I think legalism stinks and turns so many people away from God. It turned me away many years ago until I found out that God isn't into legalism. I want to be a christian but if I had to choose between legalism and confucianism I'd have to pick the latter.

confucianism because it allows more freedom

Neither. Taoism is subtle and sticks it to "the Man" every time.
