You need to say where at on the head. if it's on the bak lower or the sides towards the front then it's a pressure point. if it doens't bother he i wouldn't worry bout it. honeestly if it's that small it probably dont matter. also maybe she was abbused in her past life and maybe that's a left over for something. idk but good luck. i doubt it's anything serious.

My stepfather's dog was hit recently hit by a car this pass summer. We definitely took him to the vet right away. However, he has a big dent in his head right above his left eye. Or rather a little further back. The dog didn't have the dent then, but now it is totally noticable. Why didn't the vet notice anything then. We of course, suspected someone did something to him, but he's out pheasant now during the day!

This is normal in Chi's they have a soft spot on their head, and it is just like a human babies soft spot, it will not cause problems in the future and as he matures and grows his skull will form properly

Usually small dog breeds have this problem. They have a soft spot on their head because their skull did not fully develop. Sometimes with time it closes and some times it will remain open. Just be sure not to drop your pup on his head. My puppy had the same problem. She was strong and healthy, but I was extra careful with her to make sure she did not fall on her head, or nothing could puncture her.

Chihuahuas have a molera, also known as open fontanel, also a soft spot. It is normal for a chihuahua. There would be no worry with it unless it was extra large but as you described it, it is normal. Owner and breeder of many chihuahuas over the past 30+ yr.

His skull bones haven't fused yet - just like a person. Quit poking him in the head. It will fuse eventually.

Me too! Sometimes, its how they were born. Check with a vet to see if it is okay, or if something is wrong
