The science is improving and showing that global warming is not going to be a catastrophe after all.
Our weather station network was established beginning about 150 years ago in the US. It was mainly established to try to warn people about adverse weather events. It was not designed to tease out a warming trend on a global scale measured by hundreds of a degree. A need for that kind of precision was not foreseen.
Anthony Watts, a broadcast meteorologist, recently began leading an all volunteer effort to photograph and document the quality of weather stations in the GHCN starting in the US. So far, they have surveyed about 1/3 of US stations and found that only 15% of them meet the minimum requirements of the NOAA. The other 85% of them have a warming bias due to being poorly sited. Some of them are located on top of parking lots!
This indicates that a good portion of the observed warming is not real but an artifact of these poorly sited stations.
Also, the amount of CO2 going into the air is greater than we thought. This also indicates the climate is not as sensitive to CO2 as we first thought. The warmest year on record is still 1998.
Steve Schwartz from Brookhaven National Laboratory recently published a peer-reviewed paper on climate sensitivity and he estimated it to be much lower than previously thought. This caused some controversy at first. But now that these figures have come out showing CO2 has increased more than we thought, I think more scientists will come to embrace Schwartz's view.

If it were real and you believe what Al Gore says then have you ever considered getting a Chicken Little brand sky fall bunker? If scientific consensus were the truth then the Earth is flat and the Sun revolves around Earth. It's a cycle that man has no power to change. But if you want to help humanity all believers, a convention will be held in the Guyaunan rainforest. FREE KOOLAID! Seriously! Can't you Chicken Littles do the world a favor and kill yourselfs. Not to threaten but hey, you release CO2 whenever you breathe.

Don't believe everything you hear from the global warming alarmists. They are the same people that told us 20 years ago that we were heading for another ice age. One fact that we never hear is that Mars' polar ice caps are melting at the same rate Earths are. I wounder if the sun just MIGHT have something to do with it! And what about the fact that a single volcano can spew more greenhouse gasses into the air during one eruption than the history of all humanity combined.

I'm happy that you're involved with international warming. Here is a paragraph of a speech (approximately international warming) that I made, announcing what you'll do: If you wish to take movement there are plenty of matters that you'll do, for illustration, don’t depart electronics, (equivalent to computer systems, televisions, and many others.) in standby mode (due to the fact that even supposing they're in standby mode they're utilizing vigour, whilst you don’t truthfully want it); recycle (if you happen to recycle you'll retailer 2400 kilos of carbon dioxide a 12 months, that is a significant support for our atmosphere); transfer to inexperienced vigour (inexperienced vigour is the form of vigour that's no longer going to harm the atmosphere, this vigour is made via traditional methods, like sun energy, wave energy and wind energy. One of the examples of the golf green vigour matters that you'll purchase are fluorescent lighting fixtures); don’t use your automobile so usually (even as you're utilizing a automobile you’re burning fossil fuels, which can be incredibly harmful for our atmosphere); take a look at no longer pass via airplane (airplanes are in charge for two to three percentage of human CO2 emissions, due to the fact that they entice vigour in Earth's surroundings); use much less sizzling water (due to the fact that it takes plenty of vigour to warmness water); plant extra bushes (one tree will take in a ton of carbon dioxin over its lifetime) and unfold the phrase (if plenty of persons recognize approximately this global predicament it's going to be a lot less complicated to take movement, due to the fact that we can have all people’s support).

Let's just say that if America's Climate Security Act of 2007 passes we'll finally be on our way to addressing one of the most serious environmental problems mankind has ever faced.
Some consider the bills' goals as modest, but it's a start, a "giant leap for mankind" in that we've done practically squat to date. I was reminded recently that America needs to step up and take a leadership role on this. We've not only taken a back seat so far but we've been a hindrance.
I'm hopeful that we'll get a vote on this sooner than later and that even if this bill goes away, there will be another right behind it.
Please give your support to this bill, a bipartisan effort that helps get America back on track.

Yes it is. 1998 was the warmest climate ever recorded (of course we've only been recording the climate temps for only a few short decades). Since then the temps have been decreasing.
We haven't had a temp as high as 1998.

It will never improve, it can only be delayed.
No one can reverse our actions, and the earth will do whatever it can to get itself back to its normal Carbon Dioxide levels.

Not even close. How can it improve when our own government won't even admit it's a worldwide crisis & the media bearly covers it. We must take action now before it's too late! It's up to you to do something on your own and to spread the word.
