Hey there, so I am planning to start a diet soon, on Monday to be exact. So me and my boyfriend are having dinnero n Sunday, and I would like to make something. Since I love to cook. So does this sound healthy: Rice, salmon, and steamed vegetables? The rice is plain white rice, and the salmon is going to be flavored with Lemon and some other seasonings. No salt, maybe a bit of pepper.

You have not listed anything with casein or gluten, so If you substitute the white rice with brown rice you should be OK. You might try a little sea salt, also, to pick up a few trace minerals.

if decreasing the body fat is the primary focus then 86 the rice...

there is no reason to consume carbohydrates in the evening unless you are going to be exercising latter on in the night.

Edit:

that's fine then but try to eat something whole grain, etc. anything but plain old white rice

rice is awesome... spice it up with fried vegetables and seasoning. But If I were your bf i would be bored to eat that kinda food on a regular basis. Maybe just once in a while. Unless your bf is dieting too, dont do it too often.
