Make a ponytail more elegant by wrapping a section of hair around the elastic & securing it w/ a pin to conceal it. You can also section the ponytail and curl each section loosely to add more interest.

Separate two medium thick sections of hair starting at your farhead; one strand per side then twist each section towards you again starting from the root to the back and secure that with a clicp and repeat on the other side, I usualy just use one clip and let the two sections unwind as the day goes on it's a little something different to puting your hair back in a ponytail.

i think of you will possibly look lovable with an a-symmetrical bob (shorter in the back, longer in the front...think of jenny McCarthy or Victoria Beckham) you have an exceptionally lovable face, and that kinda of cut back brings each and all the attention to the face.
