Can't these greenies see that they are being duped?
Global Warming is just the latest vehicle to grow government, raise taxes, roll back lifestyles, and take away personal freedom.
Why are greenies so easily duped? Even if global warming is caused by man, how is government or the U.N. getting involved going to fix it and not make it worse. Think about the war of poverty, we have thrown trillions of dollars at it, and according to the Democratic platform, it's worse than ever. So throwing money at the problem isn't fixing it.

I have researched it, and the debate on man causing this is far from over. Too many facts on the greenie side of things are wrong. NASA just had to change the report that 1996 was the hottest year on record. It was 1934. Where were all the carbons then? What about the 1974 article in TIME magazine that said "We are heading into a Global Ice age" The debate is over. I'm a pragmatist, and am willing to be convinced here, but this is a lot of contradicting science. The question here is, are the greenies doing research outside their preconceived notions the challenge their opinions. Do yo think I want to die of heat? No, but I also know a scare tactic when I see it. I also know the everyone wants to "matter" and "make a difference" regardless of how substantive what they are doing is.

Isn't that the whole point with so-called "global warming"?
It's a political issue dressed up to look like a scientific problem. The goal is to throw money at the problem with no intention of fixing it.
Even if it cools down and temperatures return to "normal", man is going to be blamed for it, and more money will be needed to "study" the "problem".

Hey- who are you calling greenies? And how do you doubt that it's caused by man? What, you think all this crap happening is natural? Like a hurricane- in NOVEMBER? But I'll forgive you for that, just this once.
Hmmm. Your question has quite a point to it. Politicians all over the place are using it for an excuse, and you can raise taxes in it. But I'm not sure I agree with the "take away personal freedom" part, dude.
But one part is cerainly true- just hurling money at this issue sure as hell isn't fixing it.
P.S. HA HA HA! I kinda like your answer, blue bee! :-D

There is a lot of conflicting opinions but I go by what the majority of the scientists themselves have to say in such things as the union of concerned scientists - link below.
As far as government growing, that is more the fault of people allowing it to grow. When we throw money at a problem too often we throw it in according to politics.and so it never reaches the people it was meant for. In the case of Katrina, for example, much of the money thrown at that problem went to housing developers who were building mansions far from the afflicted area and did those wno needed the help with no help at all.
We throw money at other nations for support and we have a Castro or even Saddam. Government will grow as long as there is a dollar to be made from its victims, the American public and it will continue to grow as long as it is not reined in by voters at the polls or states considering leaving the United States as many in Vermont, to name just one state, are considering doing.

we can live more responsible about out use of the natural resources and make them last longer and protect the Environment ,
but i doubt if we could turn the tide of global warming .
Even if all of America would turn green it would still leave the rest of the world .And poor people have other priorities such as immediate survival ,And Latin countries are more interested in money than in the Environment.
Even one village cannot get it together to co operate ,so what chance does the whole world have ,
Besides some countries are more interested in Global control than Global warming ,and war is more on their minds instead of being nice to nature

Why do you need to attempt to cut back inhabitants while the international heaters have not got any technology apart from fashions this and fashions that. rubbish in equals rubbish out. How do they be conscious "climate" being as climate is meant to be the final climate over an prolonged quantity of time? How does anybody heavily learn climate without uncooked information, or haven’t they heard the historic climate information seems to be lacking. in its place is a set of homogenized crap made up by utilising a guy we could consistently all have faith via fact he like them in ordinary terms has our ultimate pastime at heart and undemanding he have been given all of it good the 1st time and didn’t choose it from now on so he deleted it? How do they calculate synthetic carbon dioxide while seventy two% of the planet is under oceans and no-one has the slightest clue what share undersea volcanoes that are energetic? There might desire to be 3 hundred% or extra unknown CO2 spewing ingredients under our oceans. while the main significant greenhouse gas, water is ninety 9.9 % extra primary than Carbon dioxide why has the climate never run away as all of them declare a pair factors in step with million of CO2 is meant to do. What surpassed off to the 4500 lacking climate stations that we used up till Nineteen Seventies. How do they learn the temperature of a planet over the years while they do no longer seem to be even utilising the comparable information ingredients? Why are 3 hundred climate stations in Canada’s Arctic passed over and in ordinary terms one used? It’s located on an Island typical via fact the backyard spot of the Arctic. How might you tell India to cut back its rocketing inhabitants? How might you administration considered one of those component? Who may be allowed to have little ones and who may be refused? i do no longer see the way it would artwork and thinking the shortcoming of AGW data why could we attempt?

Global warming is a scientific issue, not a political one. Unless you learn about the scientific evidence you cannot have an intelligent discussion about the issue.
The only way to decrease greenhouse gas emissions sufficiently to avoid catastrophic climate change is with government regulation. If you have a problem with government regulation, then go buy your own island.

If we don't fix it government will grow even more, and the economy less. We'll have to move people, replace things lost due to flooding, and fix agriculture and irrigation systems. That will be far more costly than fixing this.

Oh, so according to your logic, you would rather die than make some necessary adjustments to our lifestyles and stop behaving like greedy piggies at a birthday party. The party is over jackass. Deal with it, or there will be nothing and no one left TO deal with.

the gov't needs to put money into just building wind mills and stuff that doesnt hurt the environment, thats all they need to put money into. it just takes all the people in the world to start caring, and making different decisions, and trying to help the environment instead of killing their children and the future world
