Is it possible for me to have a telepathic relationship with, say, Jimi Hendrix instead?

Matthew P -- I think something, and Jesus supposedly hears it. How is that not telepathy?

It probably is if you get hold of some of that Purple Haze chronic.

Btw, I just noticed you're from Hickory. I'm about 1.5 hours away from you. That's coolio.

It is not possible to have a telepathic relationship with anyone living or dead. This kind of irrational notion is reduced to absurdity particularly with regard to dead people as there has never been any credible evidence that anything of a person survives death. And, to make the absurd completely ridiculous and perhaps even pathetic, it has never been possible to have a relationship with Jesus because there is no credible evidence that Jesus is a historical figure, much less one that could survive death and/or communicate with the living. Jesus is just another example of the resurrecting god-man myth...just like Attis, Osirus, and Tammuz.

People need to use their heads for something a bit more refined than a hat rest or a repository for whatever stupid, primitive dogma they have been told to believe.

You can ask Jesus to tell something for you. if you start trying to be telepathic with Jimi you might end up talking to a devil disguised as Jimi. I guess people who have passed on are in heaven enjoying that and we have to wait till we get there to talk to them directly. John Edwards says he can talk to them. He talks about them being concerned about earthly matters little petty things when they are really in heaven and life is perfected there. The devil knows alot of stuff and he could be the one cluing John in.

I have had telepathy with God, some spirits, and some live people.

So yes if you know how to tune in with Jimi Hendrix it is possible.

You're forgetting that Jesus has magical powers, while Jimi Hendrix... oh, well actually...

There are plenty of Hendrix fans who claim to, so why not?

The only difference is that the "relationship with Jesus" idea has way more literature to reinforce it.

If we accept Jesus' sacrifice for our sins, He lives within us.
