Of course we Mexicans have a responsibility to our fellow citizens, but how can we be a powerful nation with no crime and poorness if throughout history you, USA citizens and government, have dedicated to exploit our country and have taken half of our territory abusing of our political instability due to the harsh historical and cultural difficulties we've had over the last 200 years. Believe me, USA has not done more than sink my country in poorness and crime. Where do you think the weapons the organized crime, such as drug trafficking, come from? Who do you think buys the Drugs? Who has dedicated to slander Mexico over history and created the reputation we have even though we are one of the leading nations in Latin America, the 12th world economy and we have done impressive improvements fighting organized crime? The answer is United States. Now you complain of uneducated poor mexicans comming into your country.
My family has an Hacienda in a small town in Jalisco, Mexico where I go every vacation, and many people I know who are hard workers and exellent men with well formed human values have to go to the United States so they can earn some money and have a better life quality, but none of them plan to stay over there and there has never been anyone I've asked that has gone to work to your country who has enjoyed it, they only seek to save some money and return to Mexico. They don't want to go, and in fact hate going to USA, but they have no other option. And the ones who stay in USA are the ones who become "uneducted". They arrive to USA as simple men and women, maybe they are not very literate; however, they are good and simple in heart, but after a generation of living in your country I don't no what hapens over there that they return to Mexico as Rap Dancers, they become drug adicts and they grafitty all of our beautiful colonial towns and cities. I would say that USA is responisble of Mexico's problems.

since when does a government support its citizens. what a warped notion that is. citizens pay taxes to support their government, not the other way around. wow? so that is what has come to, eh? this a result of corrupt public education and corrupt media.

I have wondered the same thing,i think the US goverment kinda encourages them not to take care of their own, they give them everything over here while some of our own citizens cant get anything even though they worked and paid social security in for years.I get so agravated when i make a phone call and the first thing you hear is ''Press 1 for english! That in my opinion is so stupid, this is our country!

one of the reasons is the US has moved businesses down there where they don't pay the wages they would have to in the US.
