we shouldn't poke our fingers in other peoples anus' just because we like the smell

We aren't winning...

We shouldn't attack Iran...

Even if we achieve domination of Iraq, or any country for that matter, WE haven't won anything...Bush just got to do what he ultimately wanted...

The US is not winning the war in Iraq. Iraq is just another Vietnam. Ultimately, it's up to the Iraqis if they want a democracy or not. Democracy shoved down their throats does not seem to work, does it?

Attacking Iran would be terrible for both countries. There's no question about who would win, but the price? Don't underestimate Iran's power and resources. Besides, what excuse would Bush use for attacking Iran? In the end, the US may THINK that Iran is trying to make nukes, but there is NO PROOF, only guilty-until-proven-innocent. I'm not saying it's not a distinct possibility that Iran IS making nukes, but I think our country should be sure of it's facts before killing a few more thousand people. Or do innocent lives mean nothing to you?

The reason the US army doesn't attack Iran is because we are NOT winning the war in Iraq. On the contrary, as in Vietnam, we're losing and it's only a matter of time before Washington introduces some face-saving propaganda and brings our loyal troops back home where they belong. But don't hold your breath! Imposing so-called democracy or any other political system on a foreign country inevitably ends in failure over time.

Winning the war in Iraq , don't fool yourself their just waiting and watching for the troops to get reckless and they hit them hard. Why would you want a war with Iran because if you do your going to have fight Russia, China, Japan and several other countries. You must be ready to die , not me I want to live and if the Good Lord is willing and gets old crack head out of office , we want have any war at all. our troops want be dying. If you like war so well go to your recruiter and sign up , catch the next plane out you'll be catching the next casket plane coming back.

Iran is already nominally democratic - a constitutional theocracy, but still, they have democratic institutions. Some other pretext than 'spreading democracy' would be called for. Fortunately for the warmongers, Iran has been dillegently providing such pretexts ever since 1979.

Iraq has more to do with oil than democracy and frankly I belive is political suicide to be in 2 wars at the same time with no allies.

"Winning" is very different from "won" -- there's still lots to be done.

With that said there is one major reason -- they are not a threat to us as we thought Husein was.

One problem is that our military is already stretched too thin -- the troops aren't having enough time out of the combat zone to retrain and reequip before they have to go back.

Because the Air Force will be the ones that are used to attack Iran.

The army will not be needed.
