Are there books which disprove or negate Quran or Bible, the holy books for example?

I am very disturbed by the holy books which show blind faith in God without proving that he exists.
This is especially true in Islam or Quran where it says : The purpose of life is to worship and give yourself to Allah ! But in my opinion, purpose of life would be to serve and help others and make this world a better place to live.
I am not going to disclose my own religion or lack of.
would greatly appreciate any comments

The intense purpose of both Holy books is specifically to teach mankind that: "Judge not, then one shall not be Judged."

Mankind proves himself lame and full of arrogance if man does not consider the wisdom contained within both!

The Creator has endowed man with the "Wisdom" to discern Truth from falsehood, and it is now the responsibility of man to uphold his end of the bargain!

It is now time for man to put-up or shut-up!

When the various Holy Books say the purpose of life is to serve God, it is included that serving God requires fair and decent treatement of your fellow man and woman.

As for disproving the Quran or Bible, that depends on what you qualify as proof, and whether you interpret the Bible literally.
(Scientifically man cannot be formed of clay; but if you view it as a metaphor, than the Bible isn't proven wrong.)

In other words, it depends on how you interpret the information, both Biblical and otherwise.
