I think G-d gave us brains so we could use them.

No.

God could have created little robots that walked around and never did any thing bad, but He (or She) didn't.

God created us with free will so that we can choose to love or not to love.

If death was the end then God might be considered cruel and uncaring, but Jews and Christians believe that death is not the end. We go on living forever.

We also have a long tradition in asking God why he lets bad things happen. We might understand things mentally, but we are also emotional beings. God understand this. He created us this way.

"My God, my God, why have you abandoned me?" are the first words of the 22nd psalm. But the psalm ends on a positive note with, "And I will live for the LORD."

We are now learning that Mother Teresa of Calcutta, one of the greatest souls of our age, had great doubts at times.

With love in Christ.

God is the universal spirit, that hold the universe together, as one. You are a lot better off, the more you are aware of what is part of our existence. If you believe the material realm is all that exists, your awareness will be quite limited. One need to develop one's intuitive spiritual senses, in order to feel and relate to the spiritual realm, and to tune into God's existence. People have dulled their ability to sense things that are spiritual, in this overly materalistic world of so much overindulging. Meditate/pray, do mind-body exercises, eat healthy, don't overindulge, and start trying to find inspiration from all sources available. Doing this ought to sharpen, and strengthen your spiritual senses.

God is LOVE.

The body is WHAT you are IN, not WHO you are.
Free Will allows you to CHOOSE your experience.

God is HOW you are able to BE you...... God is God no matter what you choose or not.

God loves you.... UNconditionally.

Free Will allows you to forget you are loved unconditionally if you choose too.

This is a conditional temporary reality.
God is eternal unconditional LOVE.

Religions are humanity trying to EXPLAIN God with limited conditional words.

Choose Love (the best version of it that you are aware of)...... it leads to Joy and Truth.

God created you and God doesn't make junk.

Blessings.

Of course not. Doubt strengthens the valid and destroys the false. If you don't ever doubt or question then you will never truly be able to affirm your beliefs as true.

If you believe that God gave you the ability to question then why would it be wrong to use the gift given you?

No, it's normal, and the answer is that no gods exist in reality (and therefore there is absolutely nothing to worry about because when you die you simply cease to exist).

Rule of Thumb -

Any institution that tells you that you should not question "it" is evil and needs to be avoided at all costs. They are clearly trying to con you or delude you.
