For sure The Bible is the most significant history book and also the Only One that explains all things about God (Father), God (Son => Jesus Christ) and the Holy Spirit of GOD.
It's THAT impressive. There is no book, even very good history books as good as the Bible. The WORD OF GOD IS JUST PERFECT.

Up to a point. The portions of the Bible actually concerned with history (Kings, Chronicles, etc.) compare relatively well to other 'historical' works from the era. Historiography as a science is a fairly late comer.

Absolutely!
Although I will say that the Creation, Fall, and the 'Flood' happened with conditions that were VERY different from today.
I believe that the age of the earth would be closer to 10,000, not 4000, not millions, not billions.

NELSON GLUECK, a renowned Jewish archeologist, wrote, “it may be stated categorically that no archeological discovery has ever controverted a biblical reference.”
He continued by commenting on, “the almost incredibly accurate historical memory of the Bible, and particularly so when it is fortified by archeological fact.”

It's history in the same sense that Shakespeare is history. We do not learn much from taking anything it says at face value, but we can learn a bit about the history of thought and culture by comparing it with its context and various *true* historical events.

it is actual greater of a e book of morals and values and the thank you to attraction to close to to God. it is not a lot a historic previous e book. Kings, queens, countries and every physique is merely pronounced while having dealings with God's chosen people, who returned then, have been the country of Israel. by way of using the compiled scriptures taken from the lifeless sea scrolls, we see the candid, surprising and truthful journey of God's people while they obeyed Him. yet we additionally see what occurs while they left Him, turning to fake gods, pictures and statues. Their stories are pronounced by way of properly-known historians. right that's a link under that exhibits the countless references.

No.
I find it hard to believe that most of the events that happened in the Bible are historic fact.
It's contents sound like the world of fiction, and that's how it should be treated.
