Rum definately unless your going to make a white russian with the vodka and some coffee liquor. But crown and coke is the best drink in the world. Vodka just has an odd and undesirable burn/taste with it, especially if its cheap vodka.

Rum. But both Vodka and Rum are very good to cook with as well. Try Vodka tomato sauce or a rum pineapple parfait.

Vodka - the smoother the better. I've found that Seagram's Extra Smooth Vodka is both affordable AND yummy. I'm a mixed drink person, so it goes very nicely with all sorts of fruit juices, including lemonade.

right now I'm experimenting. I made a blueberry white Russian - made with Blueberry vodka, french vanilla Kahlua and half and half - not bad.
