If you think inaction is justifiable.. should the U.S. have intervened in Europe when the invasion of Poland was clearly imminent? What is the difference?

Mohamed.. are you kidding? He's only called for Israel to be destroyed (only 5 million Jews, I’m sure he's disappointed), talked about how glorious the world would be without the U.S., and said he can see such a day coming soon, and attended parades of Iranian arms with "Down with America" and "Down with Israel" painted on the side. Not to mention slaughtering gays and controlling the country down to what kind of haircuts people can get and what they can wear... Don't pretend he's a legitimate leader.

Ahmadinejad is a terrorist and needs to be taken out. He's speaks of genocide, threatens us and Israel, is helping insurgents in Iraq and is responsible for Americans deaths. He has already committed acts of war against the United States. Any action against him is completely justifiable.

Have you never heard any of Hitlers speeches?
He was not a softspoken guy himself.
You aren't really buying all that crap ...comparing Ahmadinejad to Hitler are you?
Ahmadinejad is a PUSSYCAT compared to Hitler.
American military strength in the 1930's was not up to the task of intervening in Europe.
American public sentiment was isolationist at that time.
add: Iran has 0 nukes.
Israel has 100 give or take a few.
We have thousands.

We have taken diplomatic action against Iran and have been working with China & Russia concerning this issue. Russia has been a dissappointment thus far however, China has been somewhat surprisingly supportive. These 3 countries are close and there are a lot reprecussions with such invasive action. If we don't have the proper support, invading Iran could be a mistake.

Yes he is.
But judging by the responses I have seen here, most of the people probably about 98% missed that class in high school.
As one who has heard frist hand about Hitler (my father who fought in WWII) and my teachers who at that time, remembered Hitler, it is no wonder people cant' see the resenbelance.
Not only is Ahmadinejad (Imanutcase) thanks J lenno. but also the newwer crop of world leaders, those who compell their countrymen to stand behind them (because they have no choice).
It all started with Hitler, then other local countries joined in (Italy, Japan, and others).
It wouldn't take much to start all over again.

There is no inaction at this time. Although many will disagree the truth is using the current sanctions, and then embargos against a country is the proper course to afford Iran the chance to do the right thing. I am sure we wish we had taken a more active roll against Germany in WWII when we tried our best to ignore it.

I'm with you - no fundamantal difference. Of course hindsight, regarding WWII, is always 20-20.
The good news is that, frankly, I don't think Ahmadinejad is nearly as clever/bright as Hitler was (at least at the beginning of his regime.)

Well, they have wanting to wipe out the Jews in common for starters. Hell yes, we should take care of him before he has nukes and can do real damage to us and the world.

did you find Hitler to be quiet spoken then?
btw would you like to explain the fact that Iran has a substantial Jewish population living there unharmed? (are pesky things like 'truth' and 'facts' not part of your opinion-forming process?)
